Pet-Peeves:
I don't like sudden movements, or other dogs being too friendly with my sister, or men wearing hats. Men with hats and beards are the worst! Grrrrrrrr!
Favorite Toy:
A stuffed rabbit that I am slowly disemboweling.
Favorite Food:
Rawhide chews and "poopsicles" (yes, this is spelled correctly; no, this is not behavior that my owners like or can control - just one of those "special" things about living in frozen Michigan).
Favorite Walk:
Anywhere! C'mon let's move! Open the door will ya? Geeeeeeez you're slow.
Best Tricks:
I'm really vocal and try to talk to to my owners, usually to complain about how slow they are or how stingy they're being with the treats.
Arrival Story:
We spotted Cody on PetFinder.com and drove from Michigan to Ohio to adopt him and his sister, Cass, when they were both six years old.
Bio:
Cody is a really sweet dog. He nearly breaks your heart when he comes up and gently taps you with his paw so that you will pet him. Cody does come with baggage though. We think that his previous owner (a man with a hat and a beard perhaps?) may have beaten him; he gets anxious a lot and cringes if we move too quickly around him. We're constantly working with him to build his confidence and comfort level, and hopefully it will pay off over time.
