I'm ONE Today!

It's my birthday! It's my birthday! It's my birthday! WooHoo!
I am ONE year old today! Mom has a big day planned for me to celebrate. I am going to Doggie Day Care today so I can play with all my friends. I just love it there. I always have so much fun! Mommy said I am also gonna have a spa day while I am there. A nice bath and massage and all! I'm gonna look so pretty when Mom picks me up! I'm not sure what else she has planned for me, but I think I heard her say something about a party! I can't wait!

Lulu's Here

Well, it happened. My family brought home my new baby sister, Lulu last night. I am a little jealous cuz she is taking a lot fo Mom's time, but at least she didn't sleep with us last night. She had to sleep in the cage thingy and I got to sleep with Mom. Mom still gives me lots of attention and kisses, and thankfully I still got my morning massage. Mom says I need to be nice to Lulu, but I need to show her who's in charge around here. I am tryin to be a good girl. I did sit next to her for awhile. I think I am confused about whether I should protect her or rough her up a bit. Mom says I am still her baby.

A New Baby Sister?

Today, my family and I went on a really long road trip. It was fun cuz I love car rides. I especially loved where we ended up! I didn't know this, but we were going to get a new baby sister for me! When I got out of the car there were three doggie friends there to greet me. Pumpkin, Patch (both daschunds) and Molly (shih tzu puppy). We all smelled each other and played a little before going inside. I was so overwhelmed with all the new smells. I couldn't stop smelling everything! It was PAWSOME! Next I know this really nice lady brought out some little itty bitty baby bichons for my family to hold and snuggle. WHAT was happening?!?! Were they planning on bringing home one of these bichon babies? How could I let this happen? Where did I go wrong? It turned out to not be so bad afterall. I really liked them and wanted to play with them, but no one would let me. They always had to hold them so I couldn't get to the babies. They would only let me smell them. After a long while mom finally chose the one that would be my new baby sister, Lulu. She was ok, I guess. When we get her home in two weeks I'll really have to test her playing skills and see how good she is at fetching. I am sure I will have to teach her everything. As long as she doesn't forget that I am the only Princess in the family there won't be any problems! It will be fun to have a little sister around.

I Graduated from Level II Obedience School!!!

GREAT NEWS!!! I graduated from the Level 2 Obedience class today! I wasn't sure I was going to make it because this class was much more difficult for me than the puppy class. I get so excited when I see my friends, so it's really hard for me to focus. Mom and I worked really hard to overcome all the excitement and challenges though and managed to improve with all the distractions. I still do much better at home than I do in the class with all my friends, so my Mom had to teach me more than one trick to graduate just in case I decided not to perform in class. It was a good thing she did because my trick she was teaching me was "Play Dead". I would do it at home really well, but in class not so well. So Mom had to resort to our backup trick of "Shake Paws". That one is so easy for me! Now mom has me signed up for Level 3 Obedience class which starts in June! She said that betwen now and then she is going to work eveyday with me to make sure I am ready. She's not giving me much of a break is she? I guess all this hard work will pay off and I will get lots and lots of treats! YUM YUM!

1. I love to tease the big dogs at the park so they will chase me. I run so fast that the big dogs can never catch me!

2. After I poo I always blitz really fast around the house, barking like a crazy dog.

3. When it's time to go bye-bye outside, I always lie down with my butt up in the air so Mom can hook my leash on.

4. I love to toss all my toys up in the air when I am playing.

5. I love to plow the snow with my nose. When I look up you can't see my nose, just white snow and my big brown eyes!

First Day at Doggie Day Care!

Today was my first day of doggie day care! Let me start by saying that everytime Mom and I show up at Canine Creature Comforts for anything I go nuts with excitement! I can't sit still! I just wiggle and wiggle until Mom puts me down and I can run. I just love it here cuz I get to play with all the other pups! Well, today was the first time Mom dropped me off for doggie day care. All I can say is I love doggie day care! I died and went to heaven! My sitter pals at day care said I was very well behaved, I was the socialite of the party, I'm not much of a napper and I liked to tease the biggest dog who was on the other side of the fence!! Mom always said that I was a tease! I love to mess with the big dogs to get them to chase me! It's so much fun cuz I run so fast they can't catch me! If they happen to have a lucky day and they do catch me I will yelp for help! Mom says I turn into a Drama Queen! I have no idea what a Drama Queen is, but I prefer to be called a princess!! Anyway, I can't wait to go back to Doggie Day Care!

I'm a Puppy Kindergarten Graduate!!

Today, I passed my Puppy Kindergarten class and GRADUATED!!!!! Mommy was so proud of me!! I even got a diploma and my picture taken in a graduation cap!! Now I'm onto the Level 2 Obedience class. All I know is that I will get a lot of treats so I'm all for the next class. Hopefully the 'Treat Lady" will be there again. When she walks into our class all my pals and I run over to her cuz she always has the treats!! Mommy said that the "Treat Lady" will be teacing the next class also. I'm very excited!

Afterwards we always have a puppy park hour where I get to play with all of my puppy pals. We were all celebrating when my hu-sister decided to steal the show and passed out on the floor! I think she just couldn't believe that I passed all my puppy tests to tell you the truth! Boy, I sure showed her, didnt I? Anyway, the people at the puppy park all ran over to help Mommy with my hu-sister! They wanted to call 911, but Mommy said no, she'd be ok after she had some juice and something to eat. Everyone at the park was a lotof help to Mommy getting her everything she needed for my hu-sister! It turned out my hu-sister hadn't eaten enough for breakfast and her blood sugar dropped and then so did she!! She is ok now!! Mommy took good care of her and she's all better. I sure am glad that's all over cuz she really worried me dropping over like that in the middle of the dog park with all my pup pals watching!!

Scariest Witch?

I went to a fun Howloween Howl today in our town with Mommy and hu-sis Lauren! There was a pet parade and lots of pets in costumes!! You won't believe this, but I won the "Most Scariest Puppy" in the Pet Costume Parade!! I couldn't believe it! I mean if you saw my costume how could you possibly say I was even a little bit scarey? I was the only witch and Mom thinks that a witch was probably the scariest compared to all the bumble bees and lady bugs that were there!! I won a really cool medal and a gift certificate! It was still lots of fun even if I didn't feel too scarey!

BLC Halloween Photo Contest Winner? ME?

I think I'm gonna faint! I still can't believe that I am the winner of the BLC Halloween Constume Photo Contest!! I've never won anything! This can't be true... can it? I know that Barbara Bird, our judge had a very difficult time because ALL of the entries were absolutely adorable! Thank you Barbara Bird!! I am honored to have been chosen as the winner!
