Christmas Time

Well, mom plays that Christmas music all day long. Then she sets the player to play it until she falls asleep at night. Just between you and me, I think mom likes Christmas music. I must admit that I like it too.

The other day mom spent the day and part of the next day wrapping presents. I'm getting excited, I hope I have something good under that tree!
Maybe I'll get two, three, four or maybe even five presents.
NOW I AM REALLY GETTING EXCITED!!!!!

I had to have surgery on the 27th of November. I had a problem that just wouldn't go away, so I had to have surgery to take care of it. I had to have my anal glands removed (Saying that in a whisper). I had my stitches taken out on the 7th of December. I was so embarrassed, there is just no way to maintain dignity when you go into the hospital. I'm sure there are some of you out there that know exactly what I'm talking about. Then to top it off they sent me home with one of those "lamp shades" and I had to wear it until my stitches came out. "Oh, the humiliation!" Well, the doctor said that I have healed up very nicely. I am so glad that wh0le experience is over!

Well, I am praying that everyone here at Dogster has a very
"Blessed Christmas" and a New Year that is even better than the last one.
Also praying that every pup out there finds their own loving furever home.

Blankies

Sorry that it's been so long since I left an entry. Mommy won't let me get on the computer unless I'm supervised. Humph! Anyway, mommy went shopping one day and bought me some new blankies. They are so soft and cuddly. One of them even has a Princess castle on it, I think that is most appropriate for me. After all I am royalty!
It rained all day yesterday, which made for a boring day.
I had my vet. check recently, now I have to start taking thyroid medicine twice a day. That's okay though, mommy wraps it in a tiny piece of cheese for me. Yummy! Yummy!
Well, I'm off to take care of my Princess duties. My responsibilities never end.

Pearls and Pillows

Sorry I haven't added any to my diary lately. I'm sure you'll understand though, but it can be a full time job taking care of two adult people.

Mommy took some pictures of me the other day to put in the Valentine Stroll. I didn't really like doing all of that, but it seemed to please mommy. So I just had to humor her. You know how it is, sometimes they get out of control and you have to go along with them until you can take control of the situation again. I'm sure we've all experienced that.

I will have to admit it though when mommy put those pearls around my neck I kind of liked it. You know a princess needs fine jewelry like that. I must say that I sure made those pearls look good! Not to mention all of those soft pillows I got to lay on. Even though I enjoyed the pearls and the pillows I pretended that I didn't, which got me some extra treats. Extra treats never hurt anyone, after all I earned them.

A Very Scary Day!

I've heard about Monday's being rough and after today I believe it!
When we got up this morning mommy didn't give me any breakfast. I kept following her around trying to remind her that she fed my brother, Rocky, but forgot to feed me. Then she put me in my carrier and we went for a car ride. Then when we got to the end of our ride and went inside I remembered the smellls and knew where we were at. You guessed it, the Vet's office. Then I heard mommy tell them that I was there to get my teeth cleaned. Talk about panic! Then if that wasn't bad enough, mommy handed me to the lady there and walked out the door. I felt so lonely, lost and scared. Then all of a sudden I was waking up and I heard them say that they had to pull a tooth. I was so happy when mommy came back, I think she was glad to see me too. It felt so good when mommy picked me up and hugged me close to her, it made me feel safe again. Mommy said she would give me something special for supper tonight since my mouth was a little sore, so she made scrambled eggs for me. They were good! Even though it started out as a scary day it turned out okay in the end.

Fall is here

I just love the way the trees look with their many different colors. I especially love the way they blow across the patio, I like to pretend that I am a great hunter and chase them. As usual, my brother Rocky was obnoxious today. He's okay sometimes but I'm sure most of you know what it's like to have a little brother getting in the way all of the time. He just acts like he is special or something, it's so annoying. Mommy washed all of my blankies today. I just love the way they feel and smell after coming out of the dryer. They make me feel like such a Princess. I am a Princess you know! Well, it's time for a little beauty nap.
