Great trip to the beach! It was pretty warm down there, and sunny as can be. Funny cuz it was cloudy and showery here at home all day. When we got there I spied a HUGE dead something right there on the beach. Mom was not very nice and wouldn't let me explore it! A lady was there measuring it and stuff, and she told Mom it was a harbour porpoise and looked like it got a huge gash on its head. She told Mom it was really nasty and to keep me away from it. BAHHHH!
Anyway, my favorite time to be at the ocean...low tide!! There was a ton of seaweed washed up on shore, that stuff is so great to explore and sniff around. There were bugs and snails and pieces of crabs and fish and all kinds of neat stuff. I was in heaven!
To listen to Mom and Julia you would think I was rolling in all that stuff...NOPE, I just sniffed!
The best part was visiting with my old wife, Jenny. She lives with our grandson, Piper, remember he is the deaf one. I must say, he is extremely well behaved and very, very smart! We had a great time playing with them, then visiting with all the other dogs that were walking up and down the neck.
Mom did say we were ALL very, very good...no growling, no barking, nothing, even when some of those other dogs tried to eat us!! And, we were nice to all the people and let them pet us, too.
As a reward, Jenny's Mom gave us some dried cod skin. NOT to my liking, it was a bit fishy for me, BOL!
