 Quick Bio:
Likes: Belly rubs, car rides, wheel chair rides

Pet-Peeves: Having his hips brushed, cats, outside birds.

Favorite Toy: Charlie doesn't like to play with toys, but he does love people!

Favorite Food: Chicken

Favorite Walk: The park by the high school has a play ground that Charlie loves!

Best Tricks: Sit, shake, up, down, lay, and burying his treats

Arrival Story: Alyssa, age 9, wanted a dog so desperately and had been asking for years. I finally gave in believing that every child should have a dog in the home and started looking at Petfinder.com. After a week we found Charlie in Rockville, UT. After a nine hour round trip Charlie is part of the family, although he has adopted me. My husband says that there is an invisible leash connecting Charlie to me. He follows me everywhere which has included some doctors offices. There is no doubt that I belong to Charlie.

Bio: He came fully house broken, and is the top of the class in doggy school. He is totally active when going for walks and playing in the back yard. When called upon to do so, he is quiet, calm and obedient. He rides on my husbands lap in the wheel chair and loves it. The rescue sanctuary and the vet say he is a Pom, but he is so much bigger than the Poms I'm used to. I guess that classifies him as "spitzy" at 12" tall at the top of the hip.

I am still waiting for my guardian to get her ankle well so we can do physical therapy for my knee.

So my guardian had ankle surgery and I had knee surgery. I guess we will do physical therapy when she can walk again.

I guess that Poms and Yorkies have trouble with my kind of surgery. Once we get used to caring our leg up, we don't put it down. I still limp along, or run along on three legs. I can scratch, I can balance, I can use it to go upstairs, but I don't use it to walk on. My guardian wants to put me into physical therapy. She has to go through hers probably first. She had ankle surgery and she said there is just so much that she can do at one time. She still takes me for walks, not as long, but we walk. She is still trying to be a good mommy.
