Likes: To entertain himself with the many toys, to bark at his older sister Diamond till she chases him, playing with his new, baby sister Maulie Galena. Anything that flies, especially birds, like seagulls! Snuggling with moma in bed, and laying in her lap!
Pet-Peeves: He's not too sure about new people in his house, or outside his home. Anything different than normal, like a new lawn mower in his back yard. That can be very scarey!
Favorite Toy: The Laser Pointer!!!!
Favorite Food: Treats!!! Especially freeze dried liver treats. He also loves his raw food. He likes Steve's real food, and Nature's Variety.
Favorite Walk: He walks anywhere his family walks.
Best Tricks: He can sit. And he looks really cute! And to heel. He also likes to give you the toy so you can throw it, and he'll bring it back to do again.
Arrival Story: After loosing my boy Finny, we were looking on petfinder for another setter to adopt, when I came across Rhu and realized he was almost the same mix as Fin I knew we were meant to be. So after 16 hours of labor (driving 8 hours to get him, and 8 hours home.) We have adopted our new boy. He came from a rescue in Ravenna , Ohio called Pinalope rescue. So far he seems to be the world's most perfect puppy!
Bio: They tell me my daddy was an Irish setter, but I'm not sure. I was with my mommy, who looks just like me, when I went into a rescue with my 2 other brothers. The woman who put me in rescue was doing something called "back yard breeding". I guess it wasn't making her enough money, cause she couldn't sell us, so she turned us all into rescue. I sure hope she stopped breeding! A lot of you have asked how I got my name, or how to pronounce it so here goes. It means little red one in Irish, and it is pronounced roo-ahn' . Mom and Dad call me "Rhu" for short most of the time. It means red in irish. To see more pictures of me, please look at my webpage on photobucket. www.photobucket.com/rhu
Forums Motto: I'm too cute!!!!!
