Arrival Story: Let's see, I was born in October 2002, and placed in a pet shop near Grandma & Grandpa. I was there for a LONG time...but good things come to those who wait. One day, Grandma & Grandpa came in the pet store, and there I was. They must have liked me, because they talked to their daughter and future son-in-law about me. Well, I think it's the next day, and I'm going home with them! My new Mama & Daddy!

Our first place was an apartment that I got to live in with GYPSY, Mama's first Dalmatian. Then, we moved to a house with a YARD...but GYPSY passed to the Rainbow Bridge soon thereafter. A short time later, Mama missed a Dal so much that we brougt home Tipper. The rest is history. Now there are 2 flying monkeys (the kids, as they are affectionately called), and we're in a bigger house with a BIGGER yard. Hurray! I can roll my ball around forever!
Bio: A funny puppy story that Mama loves to share (to my embarassment). When I was home for only a few days, I got into the cats' food. And, I ate it ALL...I was so fat that my puppy tummy literally dragged on the floor. In fact, it made it hard for me to breath. Mama called the vet RIGHT AWAY, and they told her to wait a bit of time and see if it passed. Well, luck was on our side, because I slowly passed ALL that food through the other side. PHEW! Mama and Daddy laugh now, but it's WAS NOT funny at the time! From then on, the cat room was barricaded so I couldn't do that again! The Last Forum I Posted In: Calling all Dogster Breeds!
If you are reading this, or even see that we've posted an entry, it means that you are one of our friends. And, we are so grateful for that.
We joined in May of this year, never realizing how much fun we'd have, how much we'd learn, or how many WONDERFUL pups and pawrents we'd come into contact with. We never realized how attached we'd get to some of them, or how much the passing of our friends through Dogster would crush us, break our hearts, or make us cry. We never realized how much we would pray for someone we'd never meet, or how often they would cross our minds throughout a "normal" day.
We never wanted to just reach out and hug someone, whether in celebration of something, or to try to take away the pain, like we have since joining Dogster. We never realized how much joy could come from someone acknowledging our silliness, or someone congratulating us on some achievement, or the comfort in getting a "hug" back when we ourselves had a bad day. We never knew there'd be so many listening ears or kind words as we've known to be here.
