I hear it is soon time for Sweet Lucy to go to the Bridge.

I KNOW you are so sad.. but please remember... she has had a wonderful long life.. always loved and needed.

The greatest gift you can give a loved one is Peace. I so hope when my time comes my loved ones will do the same for me.

Know that I am thinking of you.. smile for her.. hug her tight.. and CELEBRATE her life. Dont let death steal the beauty of what came before.

Diary of The Day

OMD, Our Lucy would be so thrilled ! She was picked as Diary of The Day , what an honor. She's on the main page of dogster !!!! At a time when we are so sad about losing her, this certainly brightens our day. I know she'll be running around in circles with all the other Angels up at the Rainbow Bridge.She is free of pain and went very peacefully, thanks to our wonderful Vet. Thank you so much ,dogster and thank you to all our wonderful friends for all their support and rosettes ! Mama is literally overwhelmed and in tears. God bless all of you and Godspeed to our beloved Lucy!

Rainbow Bridge

Our Sweet Lucy has crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge late this morning . She was a brave little girl until the end. She never cried or whined, she took everything in stride....it was time...she knew it and so did I.She kissed my hand a few times at the Vet, as if to say, "It's ok Mama, my time has come". My heart breaks as I write this and I already miss her terribly ! Such a little thing , but she was a big part of our family. She always tried to keep up with the two big dogs, but many times got in the way and got stepped on. They looked upon her as a toy. Maizy, my most precious Dal, is very blue. She knew something was going on the past few days. This morning she and Sammy were very quiet, sensing something was wrong. She is laying next to me, but just staring outside. Her fursis is gone and she's grieving, as we are. I cannot thank all of you enough for all the support and rosettes. It means so much to us...Lucy would be happy ! Daddy will bury her in our flower garden by my mother's Phlox plant and the Guardian Angel i have standing there. She will be in the warmth of the sun Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart , I love you all !!!

It's time

It's with a heavy heart that I have to say that Our Beloved Lucy is ready to cross the Bridge. She has been failing for some time now and today she is very weak. She would have been 16 years old in October. I am waiting for the Vet to call and hope to go in today to bring her peace. She never asked for much...just to sit on your lap , have a treat, go for rides. She wanted to play with the other dogs, but their size scared her and she would stop. We love you little one.......God Bless you ! All your Angel brothers, sisters, cousins and friends will be waiting to greet you...Godspeed !

VALENTINE ROSETTES

A big THANK YOU to all of you who sent me VALENTINE ROSETTES. I really appreciate it ! I know Mama sent valentines from Maizy, but they really should all have been from all of us...sorry. What can I say, it's my Mama ! I wish you all a Happy Valentines Day also and hope you had a wonderful day !

I also want to thank all of you for the POTP and for thinking of me. I'm getting back to my old self and eatting better now, so I think I'll pull thru. So far, I am Mama and Daddy'd longest living Doxxie !

One Year on Dogster !

Who knew ? Who would have thought I would be on Dogster One Year, today ! One year ago, I didn't even know if I'd still be alive, for Dog's sake! But I'm alive and well and kicken' ! I can move fast when I want to ......it's not too often , but I do ! My eyesight is going too, so Mama is always putting on the lights for me or goes out with me at night. I'm gonna go and have some cake and ice cream now...Max made it for me and Sammy. I still love to eat human food....Mmmmm!
Thank you for remembering this Max, because I sure didn't ! :)
