FaceBook Is For Humans

My mom is always on FB. Why, cause she likes to keep up with family and human friends. It really isn't for us furs. Mom has tried with me, but she really don't feel that it is the place to interact like we can here on dogsters/catsters. There is no games to play like we do here in the different groups that us furs belong to.

Therefore, on my soap box here, I just wanted to tell any humans out there, if you feel that FB is the place to be with your furs, FORGET IT! Stay with Dogsters/Catsters for the sake of us furs.

12 yrs old Today!

Where has the time gone???? I am now 12 yrs. old and at times I feel like a little puppy. so many things have happened in my doggie years. As now I am the oldest one in the furamily I have a lot of responsibility to the ones here. I have to keep the younger pups Millie and Tillie (Mollie's girls) from misbehaving! BOL! But they are young kids and some time down the road they will behave. But I still have to keep them in line and let them know who is the "boss" of us furs (besides skin mom)
I got this morning a plate of scramble eggs. Then later on, mom and I will walk over to Bruster's Ice Cream (behind the shopping center) to get a cup of ice cream (with a bone in it) for me! Oh boy, can't wait. Mom will put on my little dress to make me look good and prance off to the ice cream. Then for dinner, she said she'll have a big goodie for me. This should be very interesting!
Oh Boy! what a day this will be. And no, it's not April Fools for me! Yap, Yap, Yap.

I just found out through the news in FB that Mr. Jeepers is not feeling well. His legs are giving him pain. Please, if you know Mr. Jeepers, given him a hollar on his page and let him know that you are thinking of him.

So Long 2011

So long to the year of 2011. What a terrible year it has been! This will be my last entry. Yeppers, I don't think that me and my furs will be on anymore. Too much has taken a toll on our whole family. My skin Dad's health is not good. And once in a while, mom mental health takes a toll on her.

The years on Dogsters/Catsters was great. We met a lot of furs along the way and so glad that some became our furiends. And some furs that we try to be furiends with were, I guess too popular to really be a close furiend with. Anyhow, that's water under the bridge. This will be the last you will hear from my furamily. We will not be able to stay on due to financial reasons.

I'm 10 yrs. old!

Wow! the years have gone by so fast! With the ups and downs in my skin parents life. I have always been around for them when they were down and always happy and barking for them when things are good. Mom says that I am still her little girl no matter how old I am.
I have enjoyed a quiet day on my birthday. Mom gave me extra treats when she came home from work. She even gave me a wonderful dinner. It was beef strogenoff. Yum, yum! I sure licked the plate really good too! Arf, arf, arf.
Mom is going to take me to a pet store and buy me a new collar. She said that I needed one as my collar is getting a little shabby. And of course she will give me a bath before we go to the store. She doesn't want me to look like I just rolled into a puddle of mud. She is she talking about, I don't know as she is always making me look pretty. I guess she wants me to look my best. Duh!

Dog Of The Day In Dogsters!

OMD!, I'm just totally at a loss for words. I don't know what to say. I'm, I'm just speechless. This is such an honor. I'm stunned, baffled, can't woof right, can't say what I would like to say.
THANK YOU!, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I'm shouting as I am so happy about this honor. Thank you to the person(s) who sent in their votes, or whatever you did to have Dogsters recognize me and in giving me this honor.
I rec'd a lot of rosettes and other gifts that I need to go through and look at. Once I check it all out, I'll put in another diary entry to thank all of my pup pals who sent me these wonderful gifts. Again, thank you from the bottom of my paws to the top of my ears. Woof!

Daddy Is Home!!!!

Yeppers, Daddy is home. I was so, so happy to see him that when he bend over to give me belly rub, well I just peed on myself (shamelessly). I mean what could I have done! It was so great to have Daddy home. When Daddy went into the bedroom to lie down, well naturally I got up on the bed and gave him a head bath, that is I just licked, and licked, and licked, and.....well you know what I mean. Tasted a little different, like some smelly stuff. Arf, arf, arf. But still he is my Daddy and I just missed him so.
Daddy is number 1 and I love him!

Thank You

Well I have to say that everything went smoothly for my dad. Though he didn't like what they had to do, it was for the best. 2 procedures had to be done on dad and it took almost 7 hrs. to do it. The first item the doctor's had to do was an T.E.E., that is a tube going down his throat to check with a scope and see if there was any blockage in the valves to his heart. After them checking that out and saw that there was no blockage, then they did the 2secon procedure. Going into his leg area with a catheter and up into his chest and over to his heart to get the beating back to normal. So all of this took that long of a time to do what the doctor's had to do. My mom said that dad was angry when he came out of the sedation. Dad told mom that if he actually knew that this was going to hurt him, he would never had had it done. All said and done, I'm just glad that dad didn't have any troubles from the procedures. I was afraid that he would go into a heart attack and/or the "shocking" of his heart would cause him to die. But dad is o.k. Can't wait for him to come home.

I like to thank each and everyone of the pups and cats who have sent their thoughts/prayers and the POP, candle, and love to me. I really appreciate it.

Daddy's Heart Problem

Hello to all of dogster/catsters:
Last week my skin dad had to be admitted into the hospital. His heart has been out of wack(as mom says) for the past 3 weeks. Mom says that dad's heart was beating like he ran a marathon.(what that is I don't know). The doctor"s tried to slow it down by increasing his medicine, but it didn't work. So now Daddy has to go and get the heart a "shock". Well this "shock" was suppose to happen today 11-16-09, but mom was told that it had to be rescheduled for tomorrow 11-17-09. The camera to shoot at dad's body to show the doctor's where they are putting the rod into him was not working properly. Therefore it was another disappointed day for dad and not to mention mom. She is stressed out at having to be off from work and dad is making it hard on her by being a grouch(so says mom) because he has to be in the hospital for extra time.
Mom also said that dad's oxygen level is low and dad needs to wear the oxygen mask. Dad doesn't like it as it makes him feel like he is being enclosed in.
Mom is home right now. She'll go back to the hospital in the morning to be with dad for his procedure.
From all of this, I am asking all my dogster/catster furiends to please continue to pray and/or keep any thoughts for my dad during this trying time.

I Have a Crush...........

On a very nice guy name Mr. Jeepers. He is a real gentleman and he has such gorgeous eyes! He calls me his sweetheart. Ahhhh, such novelty. He just makes me feel warm and giggly inside. But I told him that I just want to take one day at a time. I am not a wild girl. I like to be courted. So Mr. Jeepers said that he will take each and every day like knowing me all over again.
