We just received the most beautiful photo ornament of our beloved Angel Socks from Rocky, Sarge & Abby Grace. We will post a picture as soon as possible. We are so grateful to our precious friends for their thoughtfulness and will always treasure this lovely memorial photo of our golden girl. Thanks you so very much, dear Rocky, Sarge & Abby Grace!

Fly free, sweet Wesley...

Sadly, yesterday, March 21, 2013 our dear pal Wesley joined sweet Sunny and all our other angels at the Rainbow Bridge. Wesley, lost his long battle against degenerative neuro muscular disease. We send our deepest sympathy, love and comfort to Wesley's family who gave him the most wonderful life and will miss him terribly. Fly free and young again, sweet boy, until we all meet again at the end of the beautiful Rainbow Bridge.

Heartfelt thanks to all our dear pals who sent us such pretty Valentine's boxes and rosies. Your thoughtfulness is so appreciated! Mom wants to post the pretty pictures we received as soon as her head stops hurting & apologizes for not doing it sooner. We love our pals and hope everypup & peep had a nice Valentine's Day!

For Those Who Love So Much

I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying, You found it hard to sleep.
I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear,
"It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."

I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea,
You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me.
I was with you at the shops today, Your arms were getting sore.
I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.

I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care.
I want to re-assure you, that I'm not lying there.
I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key.
I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said " it's me."


You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair.
I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.
It's possible for me, to be so near you everyday.
To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."
You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew...
In the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.

The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning
and say "good-night, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."
And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,
I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side.
I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see.

Be patient, live your journey out...then come home to be with me...

We want to thank all of our dear friends for the outpouring of love and gifts to celebrate Sully's birthday on January 5, 2013 (we think he's about 7 years old now). First, let us apologize for not posting our gratitude sooner, but flu hit the house just before Christmas and yesterday was the first day back at the computer (it's nasty and hard to shake). Haven't looked at everything yet, but will enjoy each and every wish.

If only Sully could realize how many friends he has that are pulling for him to come out of his deep depression over the loss of Socks...but, we know it will take time. We'll never stop missing her, but know she is now running free and young again...waiting patiently for us.

You guys are the best of the best and our appreciation is beyond words.

Fly free and young again, precious Dixie Black Pearl

Our hearts are breaking tonight as we write through tears that one of our dearest Dogster pals, Dixie Black Pearl, is making her journey to the Rainbow Bridge to join the Chicago Crew of Angels and all the others who have gone before. We know all the dear angels will gather and wait to welcome her to a life of no more pain and suffering, where she will be able to see again and play like a young pup in beautiful fields of flowers. Then one day, Dixie and the Crew & Perky will be there to greet their wonderful pawrents when their time comes to cross the Bridge.

Dixie and her family have done so much over the years (and before her and Burt) the Chicago Crew to help others out in any way possible. They have been so active in animal rescue and other charitable organizations and hugely a part of the Dogster family.

Dixie came to her forever home shortly before the last of the Crew, WINston XXLP went to the Bridge and she is what saved the hearts of her Mom and Dad.

Dixie was her brofur Burt's security blanket and we pray for him to get through this terrible loss.

Godspeed, our precious friend, and know that all you pals will be here to comfort and love your family as you watch over from the beautiful clouds above. We will always love you,Dixie, and you'll never be forgotten.

Our pals are the greatest...

It's been two weeks now since our beloved Socks went to the Rainbow Bridge and the outpouring of love & support from all our Dogster friends has just been more comfort to us than we can express. Our deepest appreciation to each and every one of you who have been so kind to us through these hard days. As the time passes, we miss her more and more and Sully has been grieving over her loss and not himself at all. But we know that with time it will become a bit easier for all of us, as all of you know who have walked this path. We will hold dear all the joy and happiness we shared with Angel Socks in the last years of her life and know that she is no longer in pain and is with our Angel Buddy (her best friend all his life) and all the other precious angels who have gone before. We love you all and words cannot possibly express our appreciation for all you've done.
Our Dogster pals and peeps are the greatest friends we've ever had and we wish you all many years of unconditional love with your earth angels and wonderful memories of the dear ones you have lost. Thank you all!
