Candle Lighting for Lennox

This message comes from Bruce's Rescue Group page:

"Please light a candle for Lennox, the sweet dog who is on death row in Belfast.

His trial is on November 23rd, so wherever you are at 9pm on the 22nd of November, please light a candle or a lamp or even a lighter for Lennox. Say a prayer, or just send him some happy thoughts.

I'm a firm believer in the power of positive thinking, so let's all picture him Free and at home with his family, where he belongs"

Lennox needs to be home with his family. Mom and I are fighting to make sure this happens. We had a success story with Bruce now it is Lennox's turn.

In Honor of Sadie

Here is a poem that Mom and I found on our pup pal's Sadie's page. Sadie's Mom said we could post this on our page.

I'm Still Here Mommy Mommy, please don't mourn for me I'm still here, though you don't see. I'm right by your side each night and day and within your heart I long to stay. My body is gone but I'm always near. I'm everything you feel, see or hear. My spirit is free, but I'll never depart as long as you keep me alive in your heart. I'll never wander out of your sight- I'm the brightest star on a summer night. I'll never be beyond your reach- I'm the warm moist sand when you're at the beach. I'm the colorful leaves when fall comes around and the pure white snow that blankets the ground. I'm the beautiful flowers of which you're so fond, The clear cool water in a quiet pond. I'm the first bright blossom you'll see in the spring, The first warm raindrop that April will bring. I'm the first ray of light when the sun starts to shine, and you'll see that the face in the moon is mine. When you start thinking there's no one to love you, you can talk to me through the Lord above you. I'll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees, and you'll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze. I'm the hot salty tears that flow when you weep and the beautiful dreams that come while you sleep. I'm the smile you see on a baby's face. Just look for me, mommy, I'm everyplace!

Hi, everyone -

Mom just checked my dogster page and was pleasantly surprised that I have 113 bones on my page. Since we don't know who sent them we will thank all our pup pals at Dogster and HQ. We love Dogster!

I was tagged by my friend Foxy. Ok pals, here's how it goes. You write down 7 cool, neat or weird facts about yourself and then you tag 7 other pals. Simple right?

Ok, here are 7 facts about me:

1. When we would go out on the boat, I would be the first to jump in.

2. I was taught to sing Happy Birthday.

3. If I had one wish, it would be to play ball 24/7.

4. I didn't like to go out in the rain, but I loved going out in the snow.

5. Mom has all of my license tags, ID tags and rabies tags.

6. I have so many bandanas that if they were sewed together they would make a small blanket (49).

7. I loved posing for the camera. Mom thinks I was very photogenic.

Mom and I are not going to tag anyone because this is a little late. But if anyone wants to play it's fine with me.

Hi, everyone -

Mom has been busy with schoolwork and also doing a blog for my younger sister, Hershey and "Aunt" Kaci. But she is taking some time for me today.

Today would have been my 18th birthday if I was still with Mom and Dad. But I told Mom that even though I like it up here in heaven I love and miss both her and Dad so much!

Hi everyone -

This is Bosco speaking. I am on a mission and I need your help. Hershey, Kaci and I are working very hard to reunite Beau with his owner. He was stolen from his yard on July 1, 2003.

This is the link for Beau's story - http://www.findingbeau.com

Also one of our pup pals has been lost since Monday night. He lives in Oklahoma and is very scared and wants to come home. He misses his family so much! Here is the link - http://www.dogster.com/dogs/746293

Please spread the word. We want to get these pups reunited with their owners.

Mom and I thank everyone in advance for checking out these links.

Bosco's version of making pasta

This story happened on Christmas Day. We are not sure of the year but it was a year when we went to New Hampshire to spend the holidays with Tom's family.

At the time Tom's parents had a male miniature schnauzer named Pepper. He was a good dog but very laid back. He did not do many tricks but he loved visiting us in Connecticut.

Fast forward to Christmas: Tom's parents, Tom, Paul and I were going to spend Christmas with Tom and Paul's brother and his family. We were having an enjoyable Christmas. When we returned home Bosco had found a box of pasta that was given to Tom's mother. She tore the box open and pasta was strewn all over the floor. She even ate some of the pasta. I'm surprised she didn't try to boil water to cook it.

If that was not bad enough, there were also dog treats for Bosco and Lacy, a neighbor's dog. Bosco also found the treats meant for Lacy and decided to help herself. The box was ripped open and there were some treats on the floor. We had to give Lacy Bosco's treats because Bosco did not even open her box. Bosco had a way to keep us on our toes.

If It Should Be

If it should be that I grow weak and pain should keep me from my sleep.
Then you must do what must be done, for this last battle cannot be won.
You will be sad I understand. Don't let grief then stay your hand.
For this day more than all the rest, your love for me must stand the test.
We've had so many happy years, what is to come can hold no fears.
You'd not want me to suffer, so the time has come to let me go.
Take me where my needs they'll tend, and please stay with me until the end.
Hold me firm and speak to me, until my eyes can no longer see.
I know in time that you will see, the kindness that you did for me.
Although my tail its last has waved, from pain and suffering I've been saved.
Please do not grieve it must be you, who has this painful thing to do.
We've been so close, we two these years, don't let your heart hold back its tears.
For, I am now in a better place, and will be waiting to see your happy face.
When your turn comes to fly up to the blue, please look for me,
I'll be waiting for you.

P.S. Mom misses me so much she carries some of my pictures around with Hershey and Kaci's pictures.

Another friend went to heaven

Hi, everyone -

It is with great sadness that one of our Dogster pals (Lacylulu) was scheduled to have surgery today to remove a hematoma from her ear. Unfortunately, she did not make it because of her age. She was 14 years old. Hopefully, Bosco has already found her and will play with her. Once Bosco finds her and makes Lacylulu feel welcome she, Bruno, Lady and Lacylulu will have so much fun playing ball and all the other neat and fun things that dogs do.
