I had to do it!

On Tuesday, Mom took Omega and I to the Bark Park. There were lots of other dogs there, and a pet rabbit too! I played tag with one dog, while Omega got trampled by another. He gets picked on because he's still so young. We played in the pond a little, and then Mom decided we should get ready to go. On the way to the gate we stopped to meet a Great Dane. He was really cool. I played with him for a while. Then another family came in with a Boxer, and he immediately came over to meet everyone. The Great Dane was standing near my mom, and the Boxer came over and stood in front of her too so he could get a sniff of the Great Dane. I don't know if he got nervous because the Great Dane was so big or what? but that little punk Boxer peed on my mom's foot! Now you Dogsters know when a dog urinates on something, he thinks it's his. Well you can imagine how angry that made me for some strange dog to try and claim my mom. So I did what any protective dog would do. I ran after him, barking and snarling, and bit him on the backside. His family was yelling along with my mom. I think she got really angry with me. She fell down trying to run after me, so I stopped the chase short and went back to check on her. She wasn't happy. She put me on the leash and we left immediately. I just hope she'll understand that I only did it to protect her.

A Little Disconnected

Well Pups, I made it through the surgery. I am officially a retired bachelor. Everything went pretty well. I did feel a little out of it when Mom came to pick me up, but it's good to be back home. She's been trying to keep me and Omega separated for my safety. That little pup plays rough. Like father, like son. I'll be back to my old self in no time, and then pup better watch out!

Friday's My Big Day

So, this Friday I have an appointment with the vet to disconnect my male reproductive organs. Ouch! My tenders! I'm a little nervous about it, but mom insists I'll be fine. "It's for the best", she says. I can't say that I disagree. I have already fathered one litter of puppies. Can you believe there were 10? I just turned a year old myself. Man, I'm a quick learner. Mom kept one of my puppies. So I have my work cut out for me trying to raise a son. His name is Omega. His mom was a chocolate lab. He's a good-looking boy if I do say so myself. Ahem.
