Merry Christmas Everyone!

I hope everyone is enjoying a fabulous holiday with family and friends.
My family is having a wonderful holiday so far. I hope they know that wherever they go I am tagging along. I am the angel on their shoulder.
Tomorrow they are planning on going to see Marley and me.
Mom has the book and she liked it very much.
Speaking of little labs my puppy that I sent to mom is getting bigger everyday. Little Tallulah Belle is now 4 weeks old.
A few more weeks and she will be home with my family. They are so excited and so am I.
We have a big, big job ahead of us.

Yesterday at our family christmas celebration at my Aunt Carol's house my mom's sisters surprised mom with a little "shower" for the new pup.
They told her to sit in the big blue leather chair and then they put
an umbrella over her head with pictures of all of the family labs.
I was right up there on the front.
Then in came a big shopping bag full to the top with little gifts for
my new sister, Tallulah Belle.
Mom was so happy. What a wonderful expression of all of the love
we have for one another.
In that big bag were plush pink bones, a leopard print bone,
training pads ( not sure about those - I know I did not need them) bol
a rope tug toy and lots more.
What fun. Tallulah is already getting spoiled. But I don't mind at all. I knew she would be special because she is my gift to mom and my family. They miss me too much to be without a little
fur to love.

Well I better get my angel sleep. I have been wanting to go to the movies to see Marley and me. I can smell the popcorn already.

Talk to you all later,

Guardian Angel Elsa Happy Howlidays!!!

Guardian Angels Are Back From Shopping

We had a wonderful trip to Christmas City. We met many new pups.

Riley a springer spaniel who owns Chateau Bow Wow. Riley was celebrating his 3rd birthday and he had his own pup party at his store. There were doggie cake and treats. Riley had two new family members, two baby
english springer pups who were celebrating with him. What a lucky pup to have his own store. Riley shared his birthday cake with us.
Mom hoped we would not eat all of it since we were such a big group.

In Riley's store there was a very special book. It was called
To Absent Friends by Jamieson Parker. Mom said the Moms of the
Guardian Angels Forever Loved and Missed would probably love to read this.

We helped mom find a new puppy bed for our new girl. It is a beautiful french country toile in red ( to match the kitchen) by
Harry Barker. Mom loved it but said she is going to wait until the
chewing days are over to purchase such a lovely bed.
I guess for now my new sister will get my old soft bed. Well, it is
well loved and well used. She will have her own new blankets so she should be warm and cozy.

Lo and behold we saw a tree with many puppy and kitty cat faces on it. It was a tree of animals in need. They were from the Animals In Distress Shelter and each one had a heart attached to their picture.
We The Guardian Angels Forever Loved adopted "Noah" a black
mixed breed dog with a sad face. We wrote a nice note and said
we will be there for him when he needs us. Now Noah has a Guardian Angel. Heck Noah has an entire TEAM of Guardian Angels.
We checked our pockets and made a nice donation to help make his
holiday merrier.

The Bone A Petit was our next stop. It is a doggie and kitty bakery featuring home made treats. There we met Shadow a golden retriever who was also celebrating his birthday, his 12th. We helped mom select special treats for our friend Doc. Shhhhhhhh, don't tell.
They are for his stocking.

Bethlehem is a very pup friendly town. Mom loved it and so did we.
On the store doors there were signs that said "welcome dogs".
How lovely is that?

We shopped in each and every little store on main street.
So many beautiful things. Every mom would have loved all of it.

For our moms we bought a very special star. The Moravian Star.
We will hang it on the Tree of Angels and when our moms want to see it they can look out the window at night and there it will be.
Our moms will know we sent it. We also bought a christmas star.
This star led the Wise Men to the baby Jesus. It was their guiding light.

We had a wonderful trip. We spread our cheer and shared our well loved stories with the many dogs we encountered.
We had just enough snow for a lovely atmosphere. We met the two horses that pull the horse drawn buggy thru the streets. They were very pretty and regal looking. They gave us a snort!

Now that we are back home all of the angels are busy helping our moms with the holiday festivities. Today Mom and I are going to address our holiday cards to all of our friends. We all have quite a long list to accomplish in the next few days.

Mom is going to try to get the pictures of the Tree of Angels up on Dogster in a day or two. It is just about ready to go. Yeah!!

We may even have to find the time to take a nap. Traveling from
town to town is hard on an angel. We sure had a good time though.

Thanks angels for coming along on our trip.

I wanted to say again how honored I am and how very thankful I am for your friendships here on dogster. This has really helped mom and I to deal with everything. We spent 15 years together and although realistically we knew that our time together was growing short it could not prepare adequately for the day you walk into your house and do not find your special friend waiting for you.
With the help of our friends on dogster our lives apart have been enriched.
All of my friends here on dogster have been so kind and so thoughful.
Thank you all very much.
You mean a lot to me and mom.

Tree of Angels Project

If you would like to see our pre completion pictures of our Tree of Angels look in my dogster plus photo book, page 2. This was the holiday project of the Guardian Angels Forever Loved and Missed
Group and Rainbow Bridge Angel Babies and others. We all look so lovely on it. For every 5 pictures mom is donating to our local animal rescue shelter where we got my kitty pumpkin.
Pumpkin is almost 16 years old now and he has been with us since he was 12 weeks. HI PUMP! ( i know he misses me)

Mom is still working on the tree and the completed pictures will be posted soon probably by mid next week.

Thanks so much for everything, I am so honored!!

Love and Angel Kisses to Everyone!!

Snow At Elsa's House

Hi Mom,
I see you are having some very cold weather and a little bit of snow. Just enough to make it pretty and festive for the holiday. Right mom? Being a christmas baby I know how you love snow around the holidays.
I was thinking of how we used to take our walks when it snowed.
Remember how I loved the cold? I had my own checked flannel scarf that you would wrap around my neck. I did look good in it didn't I Mom? Seems to me I had a woolen cap too but dad drew the line at me wearing it. I think you snuck it on me when he was at work, seems to me........... anyway here at the bridge I am always cozy and warm and I don't need my woolens but please keep them for the new pup.
She will need to get used to the cold. I guess she will be mighty chilly on those january and february nights when she is learning her potty manners. Anyway, I just wanted to say I was thinking of our snowy walks and how I loved to help with the shoveling.
Stay warm mom, sending angel hugs from the bridge.
Yours forever,
