Benny's rescue story was featured in the Greensboro News & Record - http://www.news-record.com/apps/pb cs.dll/article?AID=/20080107/NRSTA FF/690784441 He was rescued from an off ramp along I-85 in Georgia where he had apparently been stranded for several weeks.

Bio:
Benny appears to be dog social and kid friendly, fine with cats. He is a little shy but curious about/open to new dogs/people/situations. He is gentle and a little silly, is very happy to make new friends, and can not seem to believe his luck that he is getting so much care and attention. He will have a strong bond with whoever adopts him, so they need to be ready for a serious relationship! He is neutered, HW negative, UTD on shots, microchipped, and generally very healthy, weighs 77 lbs. Guessed to be a year old.
