Wow!! This Christmas was so much fun. We had lots of people and 10 dawgs at our house. One of them was my new cousin, Clark, a rescue shitzu (and yes, my typist misspelled it). We had so many adventures. Lily Pad, Bailey, Aubrie, Clark and I were a party group. We played chase-around-the-Christmas-tree, tug of war, wrestling, fetch, and got to open presents. Mason and Dixon and I taught Clark how to chase squirrels. Today, everyone has left. It's just us homedawgs now, and it's kinda quiet. Have a good trip home, cousins!!

The Big Weekend

Our Fambily had a special weekend just this past weekend. We celebrated with furless family, furfamily, and friends. We all met at our tailgating spot in Auburn--War Eagle!! We celebrated my brother-in-law's arrival home from Iraq! It was so good to see him...he'd been gone a long time. Lily Pad and I had special shirts to wear in his honor! Also on the celebration agenda was a baby shower for our sister and same brother-in-law. They are having a furless in January. Our brother (Bailey and Aubrie's dad) was there with his girlfriend. Our udder brudder and girlfriend were there, too, along with Mason and Dixon (aka the Beagle Brothers).

The next day was Halloween and the Auburn game. Auburn won!! War Eagle! I got to snuggle in laps while the game progressed--except the yelling occasionally woke me up! Halloween was cool too--I got to wear my blinking Halloween t-shirt (LP had to wear a bumblebee costume...snicker).

The day we left was the pawrents annifursary. We all ate lunch together before the furless kids left. What fun!

I have been resting since Sunday. I am exhausted!!

It has been a very busy month. It's a good thing my mom retired so we could do all these important things. I have been an EXCELLENT War Eagle tailgater!! I have been to four games in a row and have had a blast. I made new dawg friends while tailgating and had fun with my dawg cousins. The food has been wonderful, too.

LP, mom and I just returned today from a two night camping trip, just the three of us. We had a great time...sleeping, walking, reading, napping, eating, walking, etc!!!! I didn't know my little legs could walk so far! I guess if LP's short legs can, mine can too!! BOL!!

It was a great month....can't wait to see what October brings!!

Well, I am home from a week of camping!! I am exhausted!! Lily Pad and I took many walks with the "big dogs," barked at squirrels (LP did more barking than me, of course), and got to go boating in our furless brother's fishing boat!! We had so much fun! I got to chew several rawhides and buried even more! Life is good!

Oops, my FIRST entry?

Okay, I have been in my furever home now for a year and a half. Why have I not written sooner? Well, for one thing, while I love my mom, she is a mediocre secretary. For a second thing, I do stay very busy in my furever life. I have learned to do agility, to go camping, boating, Harley-Davidson riding, RV traveling, visiting my fur cousins, and Auburn (WAR EAGLE) tailgating. It is a busy life and I struggle to get my required 16 hours of daily sleep. Luckily, I have done a very good job of showing my mom how to snuggle and take a nap.

My furever life began when my mom, furless sister and her husband came to the pound and asked me to rescue my mom. I agreed to go home with her. I arrived at my furever home, after taking my new mom to the vet to have her checked out, and met my new sister, Lily Pad. A bit neurotic, but I am working on calming her down.

Anyway, that was the beginning of my furever life.

July 8, 2009

I have just returned from a vacation with the furless family and Lily Pad to Hilton Head Island. We had a blast. I took many walks on the beach and met a LOT of dogs. I was looking quite buff, I might add!! Lily Pad and I dug a gigantic hole, and the ocean came up and filled it in...what's up with that? Oh I also learned to ride an elevator....very strange thing. You step in it, the doors close, and while you are inside, someone comes along and rearranges everything on the outside. Bizarre!!! We also got to spend time with fur cousin Bailey and her new sister Aubrie!

On the 4th I got to sit and watch fireworks. That was cool!! LP laid in mom's lap. *snicker* Well, I must leave and go rest up from my trip.
