Gracie loves to nap and cuddle.
Getting pounced by Miss Buddie.
Pedigree Lean canned food
Across the room to get into bed or someone's lap. Gracie don't do no stinkin' leashes.
Sleeping and walking up the pet stairs to bed. :)
Gracie came to live with us about three years ago. Actually she was dumped in our backyard in very bad shape. She was very skinny and her toenails were a nightmare. They had grown all the way under, through her feet and poking out of the top. Now, she's the Princess Diva Dog and loves her life.
Rosie came to live with us 11 years ago from a friend of a friend. She was living with a couple of dogs who were much larger and very aggressive to her. She was the Queen Diva Dog of our house. She left us for the Rainbow Bridge on 2/10/2008.
We used to share our home with another chihuhua, Sting, but unfortunately, he died of cancer earlier this year. We miss Rosie and him very much, but we know that they are having a big time at the Rainbow Bridge and that we'll see them again some day.

Gracie's mom here. Just wanted to let everyone know that Miss Gracie went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. It was very natural and quiet. She had stopped eating and literally went to sleep and didn't wake up.
Thank you for everyone's prayers and love over the years. We love you all.

I wanted to personally thank all of you for your prayers and good thoughts. I'm home and doing really great.
The final diagnosis is chronic pancreatitis. It's not unusual for ladies of my age. I finished my antibiotics and tummy meds and now it's just lower fat food from now on to keep things in balance. We switched me to Pedigree Weight Management Chicken & Rice and so far I like it lots. If for some reason that doesn't work, there's a nommy food from the vet just for pancreatitis that we can get.
I'm also getting a little more exercise to keep me going... or at least as a 14 yo chi with cataracts and arthritis can manage. BOL
Again, thank you so much for the prayers. Y'all are the bestest!

Mommy just got the call that I can come home from the vet! I'm going to be on medicine for a few days, but other than that I'm fine!
Love and smooches to all my Dogster Pals who've been praying for me. The Power of the Paw works! :D
