Cookie dog treats that she gets when she is training or when she goes in her crate.

Arrival Story:
Maggie is my first real pet and I'm so lucky to have found her. I bought Maggie from a breeder in ND. I was emailing with the breeder and knew that I wanted either a Teddi Bear (Shih Tzu/Bichon) or a Lhasa-Chon. I had a preference of a black puppy, but really just wanted to connect with it so it could have been any color!! She had a litter being born that night she thought and sure enough the next day I got an email stating there was a little black and white Lhasa-chon born on June 10th! I had to wait a week to see her picture, but when I did, I knew she was the one. I didn't even wait one day before I told her I wanted her. I watched her grow up on line and I got to pick her up on 08/09/07. I was so nervous about it since I'd just bought a house and just got back from vacation and knew nothing about raising a puppy!! I brought my friend Julie with me to pick her up and Maggie had no trouble with the ride to Fargo and settled in right away to our new home!! I have loved her ever since!!

Maggie has quite the personality. She is very loving. She wants to be close to you at all times. When she chews on her bone, at least one part of her has to be touching you, it's so funny. She loves people and loves to get company, she just goes crazy when people come over. She is settling down quite a bit now and I love that. She loves to play ball and is getting really good at bringing it back and dropping it so we play a lot in the house since we can't take our usual walks when it's below zero all the time outside!! Maggie is crate trained and does really well when I'm at work. She's such a trooper. She has learned to sit, lay down and shake. We are working on Come and Stay now.
