Poem

Save for the humming of the bee's
And raindrops falling through the trees,
The wood was silent as a grave
Whilst shafts of sunlight made a brave
Attempt to pierce the velvet gloom
As lonely as an empty room
Alone was I but not afraid
The friend I'd been with must have strayed,
For tho' I called, no answer came
And so I played a splendid game
In the bracken wet and thick
With my favourite walking stick
And then a voice called out quite near:
'So there you are, old chap, come here'
And sitting there, upon a log
Was my best friend, who said 'Good dog'.

Snow and bacon!

I woke up this morning to snow. I thought spring time was here? I like to play in the snow, but the mom and dad do not. So, all this morning I have been giving them sad eyes, so they will take me to a field by the house to run and play in the snow. I think I am wearing them down because I just heard mom ask the dad, if he wanted to go with her to take the dogs out to play in the snow? He said where at-the field? Mom said yah. The dad said it is up to you. So, I think I am going to get to go play in the snow!!!! The first thing I am going to do when I get there is run around in a big circle. Then I am going to sniff around for a good place to pee. Next I am going to chase after my sister and let her chase me. Lastly, I'm going to jump up on the mommy and make her wet..bol! I am so excited. Also, this morning the dad made breakfast, and he gave me some yummy bacon. Mom was upstairs while he was cooking, and I heard her yell down to dad; don't feed the dogs bacon it has too much salt, but you can make them an egg and toast. Dad rolled his eyes and gave me some bacon anyways. I love dad he is sooo cool.

My Birthday.

OMD...I had a great barkday. I got cake & lots of new toys. However, a week ago I got to go to my breeder's house. I got to play with my sister who looks just like me. I was a little nervous, but it was nice to see them. They are really nice. On the way home mom & dad stopped at McDonalds. They gave me a burger patty and a couple chicken mcnuggets. Mom slipped me some fries under the table too. I wish I could eat McDonalds all the time, but the rents told me it is only for special days. I hope another special day comes soon.

Toys

Mommy just told me that petco is haveing a discount. If your order is $50.00 or more, you get free shipping. So, mommy ordered lots of toys for me and my sister. She said I will get them for my bithday on January 31st. She told me she is going to have a doggie birthday cake too. This is my first birthday, so mommy told me it is very special. I am very excited and can't wait to play with my new toys and eat doggie cake!!!

How to make a banner?

I want my mommy to make a banner for my page, but she does not know how=(
She told me she will try to find out. I hope she figures out soon. We have been really busy over the holidays. Things should slow down at the end of this month. Then I will come, and visit all my friend's pages. I want you pals to know that you are in my heart, and I have not forgotten about you.

7 things I am thankful for at thanksgiving

Woof woof...I am a very thankful girl this thanksgiving. First, I will describe the rules to this game of tag that was introduced to me by my pal Vixen. Each player needs to tell 7 special things they are thankful for. Tagged dogs must post the rules in their diary and their 7 things they are thankful for. Then, choose 7 pups to tag and list their names. Let them know by pawmail or rosett that they have been tagged, and to read your diary for instructions on how to play!

1. I am thankful that my pawpa is home for thanksgiving, rather than playing in the sandbox in Iraq.
2. I am thankful for my mommy and my sister Chelsea.
3. I am thanful for the new stuffed bunny and goffer pawpa bought for me today.
4. I am thankful for the new pooper scooper mommy bought pawpa to clean up the backyard with. He used to be in a bad mood after he picked it up with zip lock baggies!
5. I am thankful for old mother hubbard and her yummy peanut butter biscuites.
6. I am thankful for mommy teaching me good manners, so I do not annoy house guests anymore by jumping up on them.
7. I am thankful for my first snowfall. It is fun to run in it, and try to figure out what it is, and where it comes from.
