I like shark.

Dulce and I had Mom and Dad take us to the Tucson Doggie Beach party on Saturday. I thought she might have finished my new shirt or bought me one, but NOOOoo. She grabbed one of my grey muscle shirts and pinned a talking Hammerhead shark to it. Dad made me wear it. It was either that or a manatee. I made a pretty awesome shark even if I didn't win the beachwear contest. The MC had a great laugh about the shark. We didn't remember the camera but there are pics on Gabriels Angels Tucson Facebook. My pic doesn't show the shark on my back. Poor Dulce got introduced too the audience as "Duke" at first. It was already around 80 degrees when we decided to leave. Dad took my shirt off in the car and I gently chewed Mr shark til Mom laughed and took him away. I didn't hurt him tho.

Mom stopped my shirt and started a dress for Dulce. She likes the planning and cutting stages of sewing best.

I got a heart from my dogster pal Thor with that message. Mom almost fell off her chair when she read it. Thor is also a bulldog. It really is a"BULLDOG THING".

We are celebrating the day by driving out to Long Beach for the Bulldog Beauty contest that takes place on Sunday. 10 hours in the car...Mom better pack a can of Fabreeze. Whew!

Grandma is putting the final stitches on the bowtie Mom created.(sewed without a clue or pattern) The fabric is red,yellow and orange flames on a black background. She may make me a brown satin one before we leave in the morning too. Um...like she doesn't have enough to do...
Dulce has a brand new dress that Gramma bought her. Its PINK. Almost all of HER stuff is pink. This dress has chocolate brown hearts and a brown satin bow. Mom thinks it would be "CUTE" to color coordinate my tie with her dress on Sunday. Whatever.

Anyway, I hope you get lots of loves and treats.

Mom and I are sick.

Mom got pneumonia again! Second time in a year! Dad took her to Urgent Care Sunday. They gave her antibiotics and said to see her regular doctor. She got time off from work too. I'm glad she got help early this time. She was very sick last time and we couldn't run for months after without her getting short of breath.

Mom decided just before Dad got home for lunch that I had an ear infection. She rushed me out to Dr M. Mom said i was pretty good. That table is cold and I got a shot in the butt... Yup Duuuuuude I'm doing steroids. BOL I got antibiotics too and gotta get my ears cleaned out in the morning.
Poor Dulce! She tried to follow us out to the car. Mom said not this time though. Dad had to bring her back in the house.

We wanted to stop at Gramma's. She wasn't home. Bumer.

It's my birthday!

Mom says I am 4 now. Dad took us to Petsmart this morning while Mom was at work. We got bacon treats! Yum! Mom brought me a pink patent leather collar and a rhinestone"D" when she came home from work. she says she might spring for the other 4 letters, but the store didn't have them in stock. I was sooo happy to see Mom that I dumped her giant soda on the bedroom carpet. Oops! sorry Mom. She wouldn't let me drink any of it though. I like the way it smells.

September 23 is...

Dulce's birthday! She turns 4. I wonder what Mom has planned. I hope we get bacon treats to celebrate! Mom will spoil her I'm sure. I bet she gets a fancy new leash and collar.

We all really love having her in the family. (She is PUSHY though.) Sept 22 she has been with us 4 months.

We had a nice trip to the Pet Expo at Muttropolis on Sunday. We got lots of treats to take home and met Mom's boss. ( He loved us!) We went to Bookman's after and got more attention. Boy did I sleep good when we got home. I was tired. Mom and Dad took us to Epic Cafe this morning since Auntie Pam closed her cafe the first of the month. (We love you Pam!) Mom was very greedy and didn't drop a crumb of her banana bread. Oh well...

Time to go out to potty!

Is it hot there too?

At around 9am Dad called Mom and told her that it was already 100 degrees. Mom replied that she kinda guessed that seeing that she was outside at work scoopin poop.

Mom came home took a shower and got dressed up to go back out. She put on her best jeans, (black) and her black low heel shoes and a pink top which she managed to rip before leaving, BOL She ended up wearing a black top. She looked nice, but I think she forgot that the AC in he car is not working.

I dunno where she went. She's back now and kinda scrambling around the floor in here looking for her little earring. She had it while she was on the phone.

Better move now before she crawls over me.

Dulce...

is on the bed, BARKING at the MIRROR. Mom even picked her up and showed her the mirror and touched her paw to the glass. Oh boy. She still doesn't get it.

We went to "Dog Day" at Bookman's and won the gift basket for "Best Dressed". I looked awesome in my football jersey with my name on it. Well..I did until Dad put my cone collar back on for scratching. I can't help it. I really itch bad today even with the Benadryl.

Mom went shopping.

Mom went to the store with the red bull'seye logo on the way home from work. She got Dad new jeans and shorts. She bought a giant pack of paper towels for Dulce cuz she can't hold her pee always. I guess I have to say..she is getting better at it. Mom bought her self the little snack size store brand chocolate chip cookies she likes. I also saw she got a new pair of Crocs. She said they were on clearance at her school bookstore.

All I got was a new collar. It is yellow with orange suns and a blue edge. Mom took off my blue snowflake collar finally. She says Dad will help put my tag on my new collar when he gets home. I hope so. I like to hear it rattle.

Oh Dulce got a collar too. It's pink with green flamingos and green trim. Bleck!

Her name is Dulce.

I don't know how well that name fits her yet though. She went after me yesterday. Mom and Dad scolded both of us
Mostly her. She doesn't know about her leash or going out to potty yet, but Mom says she will get it . She's already getting better at it. Grandma is spoiling her. She gave her a pink collar and a leash with paws on it. Yesterday she brought her a bed that fits in her crate. Grandma is awesome.

Dulce has been through alot. She's going back to Dr M to get checked out tomorrow. She can't seem to control her pee sometimes Could be from her getting spayed or a bladder infection. She takes meds three times a day now. I bet Doc gives her more. Yuck!

Oh yeah. She's kinda reddish brown and white.

Sister?

Mom has been acting funny this week. She spent a bunch of time looking up names yesterday. Today Dad and I went to see Mom at work. She brought us in and introduced us to a skinny little bullie girl and told Dad and I to spend some time getting acquainted because "she's family now". I gave Mom my unimpressed face. I guess she's ok. Dad is gonna give her a proper name soon. Mom says she is a newly retired breeders dog. Whatever that means. I'm still her Bullie.
