Arrival Story:
My oldest son and his buddy drove quite a way to get an "Australian Shepard" so they could become cow farmers. Lo and behold, we have a BORDER COLLIE!!! As my son walks in the door he begins his "I did something wrong, but I want your approval speech". Walks back out the door and comes in with this adorable puppy who immediately took to me and went to sleep in my arms. I was HOOKED! Turns out, he is a fantastic addition to our family. He has the best personality and loves deeply and unconditionally, that is if you don't count feeding time.

Bio:
At nearly two years of age, Mr. Rig has truly come into his own. He is the family herder. He likes to try and tell us where to go when we walk through the house or if we are outside. He still loves to play hide and seek. Very sociable dog. Acts bigger than he truly is. Truly the sweetest thing on four legs. Has an overwhelming affection for his play toys and loves to share, usually more so late at night when everyone gets quiet. He sleeps with my wife and I and except for the over abundance of hair on my pillow, I can think of no better place for him.

My daily routine

I wake in the morning by my Bubbas door at the bottom of his steps where I like to lay. I lay here because I can't stand not knowing if someone else is up in other parts of the house. If I lay here, I can easily tell if someone else is up and then I begin to beg to be let out so I don't miss a thing. Once I am out, I eat my Breakfast and get a drink. Shortly after that, someone lets me go out into the backyard where I run and Bark and annoy the neighbors. I also "take care of business" while I am out. I spend most of the day terrorizing my Bubba's little brother who is home schooled and always home with me. I like him because we wrestle and play hide and seek alot. I am usually out back with mom about the time dad gets home and I hear his truck pull up in front of the house. I go CRAZZZY tryinig to get to the front door where I proceed to shove my face through the blinds so I can see him as soon ass he walks up the steps. At night when most dogs are relaxed and hanging out, I am totally harrassing my family and making them play with me even when they just want to act like vegetables in a chair. They always seems to cheer up when I do this. Then I begin to get tired and I lay down and sleep until morning and do it all over again. I CAN'T WAIT TIL THE SUN COMES UP...

My first day in the new Family (belated entry)

Today a teenager I now call Bubba came to see me at my mom's home. Another boy was with him and was playing with my brother Bo. Bubba picked me up and loved all over me and said he wanted to take me home with him. I was scared but I had no choice, so away I went on a long drive. When we got to where they were taking me I met Mom and Dad. They both were pretty happy to meet me, even though I wasn't supposed to be allowed to come home with Bubba because my step brothers Buddy and Tiger (mini-shnauzers) had already lived there for a long time. Dad put me in his arms and I snuggled close to him cause I was really tired. He didn't let me down until my Bubba came back home later that night and took me from Dad to put me to bed. I like my new home.
