Its a cold spell

Our walk has been cold but we still see other dogs walking even Mom and calf moose. Mom loves our frosted faces Lily and I run through the woods and snow and stay warm in our almost -20 cold. But 0 degrees would be nice

Happy New year too all my pals

We have had such a good year with all our friends old and new. We will have a quite walk this morning around the lake. When mom gets home from work we hope another walk. Moose have been moving we have seen them around the lake and our friends tell us they are also at Russian Jacks.

We walked at the lake today it was warm and lots of friends we have fresh snow and that was great

The Lake

We saw good friends at the lake.The lake is so wide and smooth it was like a winter wonderland for people and dogs. Dogs fetching, dogs pulling people on ski's. Us just running and playing with our friends

Happy Winter Solstice

Our morning walk was later today. Mom just had a 1/2 day of work . We got to walk later in the daylight and we got a new greating" Happy Solstice" by several people this morning. Mom was glad we got past the minus 8 degrees. It is always a good walk for us ,we don't mind the cold. Lily and I just run and play harder.

New Petco opens

Mom told us we were going to the new dog store. We got so excited we pulled the leash out of her hand Lily ran ahead and went into the craft store mom was mad at us and made us sit in the parking lot for awhile until we calmed down by the time we left the store we were on our best behavior. Mom said we need to do this more often to make us act better.

Does this mean spring is on the way.We had a nice walk at the Lake but our fun snow is going away fast. We still saw a lot of good friends Everyone wished us a Happy Thanksgiving and said to walk carefully

I am thankful for 1- My warm home 2-My family, my sister picked me to go home with her and is always by my side , my human brother that takes me for hikes when he goes fishing. 3-My van that takes me to fun places 4-The wonderful dog parks in Anchorage 5-My many friends that are glad to see me 6 Dogster for all my new friends 7-The snow when we have it but I like the rain and mud and the sun to swim in the lake oooh just the outdoors

Great week-end

We celebrated my birthday all week-end with special toys and walks. We went to Conners bog this afternoon after going to Russian Jack and University Lake mom says it was a nice week-end to spend outside and we did except for a couple of stops at pet stores to see what was new. I got a new toy for my birthday that Lily liked so well mom got her a duck that quacked. We share so that was fine

Saturday

We went for an early walk with my friends shared cheese dogs at Russian Jack.When we got back to the parking lot more friends came to Russian Jack so we went for a second walk with another group. Mom got me a new toy it's a pheasant that sqeaks I bit on it all over , down the tail on the wings to find out what sqeaked and took a nap on it. Lily kept sneaking off with it . I have to watch Lily she trys to take the sqeak out of the toys.
