I'm am so excited. With all this goodness about my sister getting well and winning this contest momma is beside herself.

Woohoo for me. I can go get groomed, get my pictures taken and then go to petsmart for a treat.

And daddy says playing around on computer is pointless.

OMD Its SNOWING

Its snowing the biggest snowflakes moms ever seen in her whole life! They are as big as my head. I didn't want to go outside in it though because I was so scared. Moms gonna get her camera batterys charged so she can take a picture of it.

Its rare to get any kind of snow here so its great. My sis Casey keeps trying to eat the snow. Mom told her to watch out for that yellow kind.

We are still in need of recipes for both pets and humans. If you have any to share, please do! We will credit you in the book for submitting them and feature a picture of your fur.

The deadline for recipe submissions is Saturday, February 21. (That is just tentative, we can extend the deadline if we need to).

If you can, please either type the recipes in an email, or send them in a Word or text document. This will make it much faster to put together.

Please be sure to include the name of your fur and their Dogster ID so I can properly credit you. Also, if your favorite recipe is from a book or website, please let us know the name of the book or website so we can give proper credit.

Oh Boy am I excited !!!!!!!!!

Mom says her and daddy and the kids are gonna take me to the Pet Expo to benifit the humane society. They are gonna have lots of neat stuff to do and sniff. I'm also getting entered in the contest for the Best Kisser. I should definately win this one! My grandma tells everyone I have a lickin problem cause I will lick you all over.

I don't see how she thinks this is a problem. I mean doesn't every love to be showered non-stop with doggie kisses.

Mom hopes to meet some other moms of small dogs there that I can romp around with. Right now I have my big sis Casey but she can't really play with me like a friend my size could.

I'm in the dog house now

I got in trouble this morning. I peed on mommas couch. Momma had just let me in from doing my morning business and I waltzed right in and peed on the couch. Momma was not a happy camper. I had been doing a little bit better about my marking in the house but for some reason I went and got myself in big trouble.

I got a firm "No" and had to go to my room. I am not going to get to go get doggie ice cream with the family tonight (at least thats what momma says but we will see when daddy and the kids come home)

OUCH!!!!

Today I got a boo boo on my nose. Momma was cleaning the rat cage today and I wanted to investigate those crazy looking creatures in the cage so while her back was turned I decided i would stick my nose in there and sniff one of their butts and OUCH!!!! He turned around and bit me on my nose. HOW DARE HE DO THAT?!? I was doing was all dogs do and he has the nerve to bite me. I have sniffed the white girl rat all the time and even get to lick her so why does this one want to bite me. Momma says I scared him but excuse me I was the one who was scared.

Momma put some medicine on my boo boo but it still hurts. Next time I will stick the only rat I trust the white girl rat named Lighting. At least I know she wouldn't bite me like that boy rat.

Cold weather

Boy is it getting chilly. I had going outside when its cold to go potty. I always come back in shivering really bad even though I'm only out there long enough to potty. Momma lets me get in the bed and snuggle under the covers when I get back in so I don't get hyperthermia.

My big sis Casey doesn't mind the cold and when Momma calls us to come back in she tries to take her time so she can stay out there. Is she Crazy!!? I love my big sis to death but I wonder about her sometimes.

Other than that its been pretty quiet in the house. Momma, Daddy, and the kids went to Ohio to visit family and my aunt took care of me and Casey while they were gone. She even brought her two kids over to visit us. I loved getting to visit with her kids but I really missed my own!

Santa-paws brought me some treats and a T-shirt for Christmas. The shirt is neat because it lights up. The only problem is my sister Casey loves laser pointers and goes crazy over a red light so the shirt which has a blinking red light on it drives her crazy and she trys to take my shirt off. Shes actually taken it off a couple of times.

My Pain is finally gone

Thanks to all my pals for the kind words. It really helped me and momma get through this last week.

I went off my pain meds yesterday and I'm doing good. The swelling is almost completely gone (its about the size of a pea now). I have still been whining just because I have learned that it gets moms attention. This morning when she took my sister to the bus stop accross the street from our house i ran to the back yard where I could see here and started to yelp as if someone was hurting me so back. Momma could see me and knew I was clearly not hurt but just acting. Hey you can't blame a pup for trying.

Oh and guess how much I weighed when I went to the vet.....5.7 lbs. Guess I'm not a little pup anymore.

The weather is getting warm now. Its going to be 80 today. Me and my human brother and sister even got to eat outside for dinner yesterday. There was a lot of bees out though so momma cut our dinner short so nobody would get stung. My human brother gets some swelling if he gets stung so momma thought it would be best if we came in just in case. I don't know what kind of reation I would have to bees but I sure don't want to find out.

Momma has been starting to train me more too. She has Casey trained not to leave out of a door unless told its ok and mom wants me trained that way too. I still need to be told the stay command but I'm doing better. I also wear a diaper in the house because I'm still not fully housetrained. Momma will put pictures up with me and my diaper this weekend.

Well I've made momma type long enough so I better go.
