Arrival Story:
We adopted a 3-month old Golden mix from the shelter. She was beautiful and smart. However, she had caught distemper at the shelter. We loved her for five weeks before we had to end her suffering. I still can't look at Zephyr's picture without crying. She was just so innocent. I immediately wanted another puppy. Not to lessen the memory of Zephyr but to celebrate it. She taught us how to enjoy every minute of her antics. So, afraid of getting another sick dog, we went to a breeder to ensure all vaccinations were complete. We came home with Saffron a week later. Saffron is just a complete goofball.
