A very scary day!

It was a Sunny day and my Mum hade just come home! I missed her so much! She was at her friends overnight while my Nanny (My mums mum) was looking after me!

She said hello and gave me a cuddle! I was like COME ON Mum Get my ball thrower and ball its a great sunny day!

She understood and grabbed my lead (She brings it just incase but i never usually go on it, I`m a good girl!)

We take the short path to my favourite field near by and start playing! I love playing this game! My mum throws it in all directions! I jump,Twist,roll and dive for my ball!

She does a really long throw and I`m there chasing it, Then she starts shouting for me, Whats wrong Mum?

Shes shouting lots and Lots but I dont think its at me! Suddenley this Horrible pain shoots through the back of me, This nasty Terrier is biting me! I yelp in pain and manage to get away! My Mum was trying to warn me.

I start running towards mum, but the Terrier wasnt far behind, When i got to mum i was trying to hide but the horrible terrier got me again, My mummy was shouting "Let go,Let go" but it wouldnt. I`m really scared, I have never met this dog and she came at me from behind for no reason. I quickley manage to escape free and the Nasty dog keeps chasing me.... It`s fat owner olny stands there and watches and My Mums really upset! She kneels down for me to go into her Arms so I make a Dash for it! But that Evil dog is to quick and as i get to my Mum and she holds me, the horrible wicked thing bites her too!

Just in time (before my mum got even more hurt) The fat owner comes, Shes saying lots of words to my mum.....She sounds sorry! My mums very angry and i can see she almost crying. She asks the woman why she let an evil dog like that off the lead and explalined how a years and a halfs work of socilaising me (beacuse i was attacked before) had gone down the drain. The woman kept Saying sorry and saw the bite mark on my mum`s hand and the blood, She asked to see it but my mum said no, she was worried about me and wanted me home!

My mummy has always been protective over me especially since the incident that happend when i was 10 weeks old, I was always quite a carefull puppy (Not as big and bold as my brothers and sisters i left behind) I always had to think about what i was doing! Anyway.... It`s the first time on the field and theres a little hill, so me and my Mummy and my Nanny go up! My Mum and my Nan start to throw my very first ball, It`s really exciting im running backwards and forwards to and fro! Wow this is fun!

Suddenley from no where this big load Noisey dog comes running over! Suddenely I`m in her jaw and being swang around! I`m yelping so much, I`m so scared I can hear my mummys alarmed voice! Then she puts me down and starts flipping me with her nose! I yelp even more, Mummy thinks i must be really hurt.She then used her paws and shuffles me from one to the other!

All i can hear is lots of shouting.... My mummy voice, My Nannys voice and another voice i dont know.

The big black dog stops and i manage to run away, It tries to catch me but Her owner gets her first. My mummy quickley comes to my rescue, I wasnt hurt But that was the worst thing ever!

Since then I have never played with another dog, Well not properly.... Mummy has been training me very hard and i have met lots of nice dogs but i do get scared if they are big and bouncy like the big black dog "Tanya". My mummy says Tanya didnt mean to scare me she wanted to play, but i dont think i will ever like dogs like >Her!<

I am nearly two and a half now and my mummy has been training me very hard! I was getting to be a lot more comfortable with all sizes of dogs, But after today its going to take a lot to keep me convinced! I`m glad i have got a Mum that loves me and will give me time to recover!

Mums hand isnt too bad either, she was just more upset about me! I really didnt deserve what that nasty little dog did! Maybe Mum should have that dog put down.....? I dont know what could she do, do you have ideas?

You see that dog could be a real danger!

I tell you what it has been a really scary day!
