White and Fluffy

I am celebrating my second winter with my family this year. Today I was very contently napping in blanky on the couch when I saw my brother attentively watching something outside. I decided to go see what it was ...

It was this neat fluffy white stuff falling from the sky. Brother and I sat and watched it very carefully for a long time. My moms were running around looking at it and getting really excited. It started to snow right about the time I normally go out for my afternoon pee-pee so they suited us up and took us outside. Hardly an inch of the stuff had fallen but brother and I ran around in it. I got really cold but I kept looking up and licking the stuff off my nose. When we came back in, Brother and I sat by the window and watched it pile up for the rest of the afternoon. Momma said she was sad that the battery in the camera was dead because she wanted to take a Christmas picture of Brother and me.

We got to go out again at our evening walk time. Oh Boy! We saw our neighbor friend Molly, a black lab mix, who was very excited about the fluff too. Bailey and I ran up to her to tell her what was happening just in case she didn't know what was going on. While I was licking her nose, I told her that the great maker was giving her heavenly bichon a hair cut and the fluffy white clippings were falling down on us. When we started on our walk there were three inches on the ground and I had to bound through it just to be able to walk! By then I remembered playing in it last year so Brother and I chased each other in the field and I got big balls of the fluff stuck to my leggies so I almost couldn't walk! When we came back in, I chewed off all the fluff stuck to me. Then I was really cold and Mommy wrapped me up in my blanky that had just come out of the dryer so it was super warm! I can't wait to play again before bed time! But now I'm very tired from running around and trying to keep my body temperature up so I'm taking naps for the rest of the evening.

Stay warm and have fun in the fluff!
