Arrival Story:
Grace was found in Taipei, hiding under some bushes and desperate for human contact. From her appearance it was obvious that she had been abandoned, as are many dogs in Taiwan. She was very blessed in that a wonderful woman named Andrea found her, took her to be spayed and sheltered her. As Andrea was in the middle of a move, Grace traveled for five hours with Andrea and a friend who volunteered to drive her to me to come stay with Gromit, Cleo and myself. A few weeks after arriving, Grace suddenly lost her eyesight. The result of what the vets say was a virus, Grace will not likely see again. She, however, is amazing! In under four weeks, she has adapted very well and is a beautiful, healthy young girl!

Bio:
December 15, 2007 Grace is becoming an international traveler! Today she had her first airplane ride (45 min) back to Taipei where she is going to stay with Andrea and her pups until December 28th when she and 15 other disabled and abandoned dogs and cats will fly to Holland where new homes are waiting! This is the opportunity of a life time for her and all the others who are going as well. It was extremely hard to say goodbye to her but she did really well in her new kennel and on the plane, proving to be a great traveler.
