Hi pals,

We have been having some really nice sunny days here in New Mexico although the wind has been blowing strongly and there were some adverse weather conditions bulletins advising winds of over 60 miles per hour might hit various counties (it was windy here but not THAT windy).

Anyhoodle, daddy told momma that snow was forecasted and she laughed saying it couldn't possibly be true as there wasn't a cloud in sight and the temperature was in the high 60's. So guess what happened this morning...Yup, it has been snowing on and off all morning long. It's a fine day to lay in bed and nap, don't you agree?

The house building is coming along. The humans were planning on finishing up daddy’s bedroom today but since the weather conditions won’t allow for doing door painting outside they are taking a break – BOL. Daddy is still sleeping in the living room on the Queen sized bed but Puffy, Simba, momma and I are REALLY enjoying the Cal. King bed in “our” new bedroom. Momma says she will take pictures once everything is put away and post them on Dogster so you can see how nice it is.

I need to thank my wonderful pal Mazy for suggesting that momma use wee-wee pads so that if weather conditions were bad Puffy and I wouldn’t have to go outside to do our business. I am no longer waking momma up in the middle of the night to go outside, instead I use the wee-wee pad and it has been working out great. I still go outside most of the other times but having an indoor potty is wonderful. Momma even bought some washable wee-wee pads so that she wouldn’t have to keep on buy disposable ones. She found a web site that sells nothing but wee-wee pads and they cost much less than what cost at animal supply stores.

Oh, got to go and see what is happening in the kitchen…I think I heard someone opening the cookie jar…

Hugs and kisses,

Coco Rose

No wee wee pads for us. We have to go outside. Barefoot, and it's uphill both ways.

Coco-Will the snow ever go away????????That 18.8" of blizzard on Sunday left us a huge mess! Right in the middle of calving too! What an anniversary pressie Angel Baby and Foxie sent! Don't they have a great sense of humor?????

Now,I need that info. on the special pee pad site! Maybe Gma can save some extra money for more toys! Right now, my choice is snowbank, waterhole or mudhole for outside potty. I said, thanks but no thanks.....I'll wait until it dries up a little.
Gma chases enough mud with Precious and I helping....
kisses,mazy

Mazy, here is the link where momma bought the large, washable wee-wee pads:

The same wee-wee pads were at Petco in California for $54 dollas per pad. Wal-Mart carries the Simple Solution washable Training and travel pad, size Medium, for $10.98 per pad but I find the medium to be too small as I drink a lot of water therefore I piddle great volumes. Using the larger size allows me to do my business and NOT miss the pad. Once I use it all momma has to do is toss it in the washer and dryer and then it can be used again, there is nothing to throw away.

The below link is the site that sales nothing but disposable wee-wee pads by the case. Momma has not bought anything from them but it might be something your Gma might like to look into...
