A day in the life of Mack..

RUT ROH!! What's this talk about a "snip-snip"?

Okay, well I heard my mom on the phone with my "Grandma". She's the one that took care of me when I was first born. Now, don't get me wrong - I love Grandma Linda a lot. Her and Grandpa Larry give me lots and lots of scratches and kisses because they don't get to see me that much. HOWEVER, it is never a good thing when she calls Grandma Linda on the phone. It usually results in some sort of cream, or pill or bath or punishment! (Well, usually not a punishment)..

Anyway, Mom was talking to Grandma Linda about having a "snip-snip". That does NOT sound good at all. She's going to drive me to the clinic that Grandpa and Grandma own. It's 5 hours away. She says they're the only ones she trusts with my "surgery". There was also talk of my "manhood". Not good at all.

I must investigate and find out more before Nov. 21st. You pups must help me out!

The Picnic!

Hello everyone! I had a GRRREATT day! Today I went to a Bullmastiff Picnic and there were 10 other Bullmastiffs there! It was very exciting. I think there were about 30 2-leggers.

My favorite part was seeing my girlfriend Jemma. She is a 6 month old Brindle Bitch and she sure is pretty! We like to play together. My dad is especially enamored with her and for the "games" portion of the day, Dad took Jemma and Mom took me. Well, of course, we beat the tar out of Dad and Jemma but they sure were cute.

We won 3rd place at Musical Bullies. That one was hard because mom had to try to get my whole big butt on the carpet and the other bullies cheated a "little"!

I'm telling you that we had "Egg and spoon" in the bag. I was so well behaved for mom and I didn't pull at her at all..Victor got us though. It was at the end. He's much taller and faster than mom, so she made a move for it and, well, our egg fell and he made it!!

I'll write more later. I'm very tired.

What's going on here? Meet and Greet? Pshhh..

Gosh dang it! I had to get a bath this morning! What in the world is wrong with my mom? She says tomorrow I'm going to a "Meet and Greet". She says lots of people are going to come to our booth and pet me and love on me. Well, that's grrrrrrrreat! However, why do I have to take a bath for them? Don't they realize who they're dealing with here? I'M MACK! They should be getting all spruced up to meet me! Unbelievable!

Also, what is all of this I hear about being an "Ambassador" for my breed? At first I really thought that sounded like a lot of fun. Kind of has a nice ring to it, ya know? "Mack the Ambassador" (insert Wizard of Oz voice here). Apparently it isn't what I thought. I was thinking all these people showering me with gifts (as we all know I deserve), possibly some hot doggies fanning me with palm leaves, that sort of thing. But,...NO! It has something to do with my behavior. I have to be a good dog and not jump and bark or anything fun!

Furthermore, why do I need this stupid "CGC" certification? Everyone knows I'm the bomb! I'm a little nervous about this. What if the big bad Evaluator is mean to me? What if I don't pass? What is it with humans these days?

Hmmppph...Who signed us up for this?

Wish me luck doggies! I'm gonna need it!
