It is votin' time here in Wisconsin! Woohoo! I can't wait to vote! There are sign on all the lawns, or maybe half of the lawns, or maybe just some of the lawns wif names on them and you can vote for those names. We have one on our very own lawn, only we don have a lawn. We only have a bunch of prairie-type plants that grow much taller than the regular lawns around here. But there is a sign that you can see that is still where our front lawn would be if we had a front lawn. It has a name on it of someone Mom wants to become Governator of our state. I dunno how to read so gud, so I dunno who this pup is. Lexie said I don get to vote anyhow. I don see how that can be possible, but she insists that it's true. I think bein' the governator is important and I should be able to raise my paw and vote! What if they decided to protect squirrels or raise the height of drinkin' fountains or somethin'?!

At least the guy in charge of our fair city believes in trees and plantin' more of 'em. That is very important. Whoever gets to be the Governator better believe in trees and dog rescue places and stuff like that. I came from a Human Society and they treated me gud. Lexie said they din teach me to read, but maybe that's jus cuz I wasn't there long enuf. She musta been there forever cuz she reads the classics.

I was not allowed to vote either. A travesty! The Mulligan Compound votes at the Local Public School. The Local Public School does not allow dogs! Many, many times I tried to get an absentee ballot, but the mail man would not take it from me! Apparently Mailmen and Mailwomen are afraid of dogs and won't take a dogs Absentee Ballot even if the dog asks nicely!
