As you may have heard, I am SR's offical Schnauzer of the Week this week. I got my very own thread and I get to field questions from other SR members. I get a virtual podium! So the pups have been asking me such interesting questions and I have been answering them faithfully, but today Zoe asked me why do birds suddenly appear every time I am near. It was like a lightbulb went off above my head! Or maybe the lightbulb went on? Anyway, a lightbulb just suddenly appeared right above my head, and I was nearby . . . do you think there is any relationship between the birds and my light bulb?
But I jus thought how cool it was for Zoe to notice that birds were appearing near me, cuz they are sure appearing near me! I see them every single day outside our windows and in our yard and on the branches of our trees and flying over our house. It's unbelievable how many birdies appear near me! 'Course Zoe was askin' me why this was the way it is, and I don't have an answer for her. This was the first time in my thread that I was unable to answer a question.
Lexie suggested that I might be suffering from avian magnetism. 'Course I would think they would fly closer and then stick to my sides or somethin' if that were the case. They tend to appear quickly enough, but then they disappear just as fast, especially when I run at them barking my head off. Go figure. Maybe my magnets have been reversed and I am repulsing them. Lexie thinks that's probably true. She thinks I am good at that. I dunno.
