Humanity and the Mute Giraffe

How else will I get any attention around here today without flashy titles? It is my sister Lexie's 8th birthday today and boy did she soak up the glory. I am very happy for her, but I was bummed when she got to go to Petsmart with the pawrents today and pick out pressies and treats, and I had to stay home! Mom said that my birthday is at the very end of this self-same month, so my day will come. Really? I have a birthday coming up? How cool is that? I can't wait!

About my diary title for today? I have no idea where that came from. Silly things just pop into my furry head sometimes. Mom says that those silly things sometimes get me into trouble, but I think this just got me the attention I needed while my sister basks in the glory that is her birthday. I don't think giraffes say much, anyway.
