Merry Woofmus and Happy Bark Year...

Hi all its been a looong time since mum and I have been on here....

This last year has been hard on me and my furlesse's so many human drama and so not enuff walks! My mum hasn't been well for awhile now so me and the furlesse's have been taking time out to look after her. She's doing better now but she still has many a bad day....those are the days she just sits alot with me on my deck and pats me and looks sad....my mum was diagnosed with Bipolar Depression in late June of last year, it has been a rough ride for us all but I am trying to support mum in every way that I can. She is happy now more days than she is sad.....

Just after Christmas the furlesse's had family day out and they came home with a surprise for me....I got a new baby brother his name is Lucian.....when mums really on top pf her game she's going to make Lucian his own Dogster page just like mine! I think mum bought him home to keep me company when the family is out.....he's great but I have to be careful at the moment when I play with him as he's still quite small and I will hurt him cos of my size....

Barks to all of my Dogster friends I am hoping that we can all catch up again very soon....

PS....Lucian is an EXCELLENT hole digger :D!!!! I'm really happy about that but mum and dad aren't so much......

Lycan...

Sadly Lycan is no longer part of our family, his previous furless owners decided to come and take him yesturday, they gave my furless mum and dad no warning they just arrived and took him away.

We are all very sad at the moment due to the way this has all happened.

I will miss my brother Lycan very much but I am lucky as I still have the junior furlesses to love and care for.

Its Raining....hohum

It has rained most of today and cos Lycan and I were both naughty this morning we got sent outside....so we played a bit in the mud pile out the back (it did start off as the dirt pile but cos its rained so much its turned to mud..), finally mum let us back inside on the provison that we behaved ourselves....we did for all of two minutes BOL! Sorry mum. I do like it when it rains tho cos that means I get to curl up on my sheepskin and nap the day away, altho I do have to occassionally do a "household patrol" just to make sure everyone is doing what they are sposed to be doing (which is so much more fun now that I can go and pounce on Lycan on my way past and wake him up...).

We have been pretty busy the last few days, mum and dad have been finishing off the backend of the deck before Winter hits so Lycan and I dont completely turn everything into a big pit of mud. It took them all day but dog gone it looks great now and it means Lycan and I have yet more places to jump up and down and all around on! I am a bit annoyed with dad tho as he blocked off under the deck so I cant play hide and seek under there anymore with Lycan....well I used to hide under the deck, wait till Lycan was walking past and then I would pounce on him....my version of hide and seek (I hide and pounce BOL). And I heard mum saying that even more is going to be done out the back seeing as I have been so helpful to mum with her gardens....she's going to replace all the garden edgings to make them more friendly for us! Go Mum!!!

Well I have to go and do another Patrol round the house so I will bark out another entry soon

Big Beach Adventure

Lycan had to go to the vets today but I didnt have to go so I stayed at home with dad and the junior furlesse's...Lycan and mum took ages but eventually they came back.

Then mum, dad and the junio furlesse's took Lycan and I down to the beach for a run. We walked for a bit then mum and dad let us off our leads and Lycan and I took off....we ran and ran and ran for ages....we went up by the big rocks and we scared a big smelly thing (I think mum called it a seal) and it ran funny down the sand to the sea (dont worry we didnt catch it); Lycan and I of course jumped in straight after it and we went in over our heads to get it but it was gone. Mum was yelling at us to come back but we had to keep going into the water and running up and down the beach to make sure it wasnt there anymore. Eventually mum got hold of me and started walking me back to where dad and the junior furlesse's was; mum couldnt catch Lycan cos he wouldnt let her but he followed along behind her occassionally going back to check to make sure that pesky seal didnt come back. The junior furlesse's were playing in a rock pool and Lycan dived right on in for a swim and a splash, after me sniffing round for a bit I eventually decided to come in and have a splash round for a bit too. Then mum decided it was time to leave as Lycan and I wouldnt listen and we kept trying to go back to where the seal was. I really like swimming now, I didnt used to so thats why mum and dad stopped taking me down to the beach cos I just used to sit on the sand and watch the junior furlesse's splash around in the rock pools, but now I have someone to splash with that makes it so much more fun!

We all got home and mum gave us a bath! She washed away all the yummy beach smells! So I am off to go and roll around in the grass now!

I have a new brother and his name is Lycan!

We went and picked up my new brother today....man what a long ride in the car! So not used to going that far in one go thats for sure...

Anyway when we finally stopped I got to run around a big park with this strange pup for ages.....then suddenly the strange pup is in our car and coming home with us! He got to sit up front with mum as he doesnt know yet to sit and stay sitting when the car is moving...but I do so i will have to show him how to do that I spose.

We have just gotten home from our long trip and now I am showing him just what is what round my house....so far so good!

Happy Halloween Everyone

Happy Halloween guys...we dont celebrate Halloween here in New Zealand like America does...we are more into Guy Fawks....which are pretty scary with all the lights and noise (but mum said Im allowed to stay inside that weekend).

My pal Shadow has gone to his new home, he only stayed with us for a couple of days....I am kinda sad to see him go cos he as lots of fun to play with but I am also kinda glad he has gone as now I dont get kicked out of my cosy big bed (he thort my big bed was so much cosier than his blanket, so he would wait until mum had gone to sleep then he would muscle into my bed and make it too uncomfortable for me so I would have to move and sleep on the floor)...but its ok cos hes gone and I have got my bed back now.

He's gone to a lovely new home....they live close to the beach and they have another dog too so Shadow will always have someone to play with :D.

Mum and dad keep saying tho they are going to get me a play mate (hopefully it will be someone smaller than me so I can show them I am the boss around here). And we did go and visit a house with a dog that smelled like me a couple of weeks back so maybe my new playmate will be coming from there....

Anyways mum says she needs to log of the computer now and get the junior furlesses ready for school....but I promise to keep you updated on the playmate thing.

I have got a new friend!

Mum took me and the junior furlesse's in the car today....first stop mum didnt get me out of the car straight away and I knew by sniffing out the window I had been to this place before. Next thing I know mum's getting me out of the car and I am making a new friend, his name is Taj and he's big and black....after much growling and sniffing we are now the bestest of buds! I like Taj he's great to wrestle with!!!! And man can he run fast!!!!

Mum belted me back into the car (and not to forget the junior furlesse's they did come too) and we went for a longer drive....again mum left me in the car for a bit then she came out and got me again....I have been to this house before too they have got an old grumpy dog and she never likes to play with me and her name is Tara....anyway I get out of the car and there's this boisterous pup call Shadow standing there waiting for me. After the first sniff he was my pal and the best bit is he's staying at my house for a little bit while his furless mum takes a trip. He's great too he loves to play cept I wasn't too happy when we got him home as he tried to steal my favourite toy GRRRR was what he got. Mum left us to it outside and we got a bit over the top so mum sprayed us with the hose.....but now after a big after noon we are both curled up on Shadow's blanket laying in the sun ready to have a nap.

Don't tell anyone but I hope Shadow can stay he's so much fun to play with and he's the same size as me and he knows how to stil be a puppy and play lots!

Its My Woof Day!!!

Yay its my woof day today and I am ONE!!!

Mum made me my favourite breakfast this morning of Machral (tinned fish like Sardines) and my favourite bickies!

I wonder what we are going to do today......I think mum said something about the car this morning, maybe we are going on a road trip....YAY I love roadtrips......but I will let you know what happens today later on.

I am off now to dig me an especially big hole in dads newly re-seeded grass.....I think I mite just dig to China today cos its my woof day and cos I can!

I have been busy today...

We walked the junior furlesse's to school this morning....mum forgetting to take the camera for a picture for the AFF Follow the Funster...Which is me today YAY!!!!

BUT....

This afternoon mum took me down to the big field (soccer grounds) which on our way home from the junior furlesse's school and we had big runs....mum took my new Flying Squirrel and my favourite ball to the field and she threw it lots for me and I ran and ran and ran! Mum got a couple of really good photos of me standing stuanch with my Squirrel for the Follow the Funster game today....have to wait for the camera battery to charge up tho so we can post our pics on my page!

I had heaps of fun with mum today but now I am sooooo tired! And soon it will be time for mum and dad to go get the junior furlesse's from school....I don't have the energy to walk to school this afternoon....I so hope we go in the car - I love car rides!

I think I mite go and have a little nap before its time to go.
