Mom has submitted my picture to our morning CBS station. Each day they pick someone to be their Doggone Weather Star of the Day and today my picture was selected. It is featured on their Facebook page and also was shown on television! I deserve a special treat today!
On a sad note we read that our new American Eskimo friend Samantha went to The Rainbow Bridge yesterday. She had lung cancer and was ready to leave and her mom did not want her to suffer any longer. We are very sad to hear this. She was very loved and it is always hard for the family to let go. Mom always is sad to think of how few years we actually get to have together. It is never enough.
Today we went to Lake of the Woods and we played the run to mommy get a treat, run to daddy get a treat game. Then Mom took me for a nice long walk and we took the nature trail, not the bicycle path. I love all the things to sniff along the way and it felt good to be outside in the fresh air. I am so worn out, I have been napping all evening. I hope we go again tomorrow!
I know that I am not alone in having one or more missing group threads, but losing our Royal Member of the Day thread in PDPC really is upsetting. This thread was started in the summer of 2008 and as far as I can remember, someone has been made Royal Member of the Day every day since. Buttercup and I have always made sure that we have never missed honoring a different member every day of the year.
I do not know how many posts this thread had but it was huge and represented work and dedication. I know other furs have lost threads that were very important to them and their groups too. I hope that HQ can retrieve these threads for us. We would be very grateful.
