Arrival Story: We had an American Eskimo a number of years ago and when it passed away, we did not replace it for about 5 years. 1 1/2 years ago we started to talk about getting another dog and wanted another American Eskimo and started looking for a breeder. It was hard to find one in Central Illinois but we did locate one and that is where we got Bailey.
Bio: We have had Bailey since she was 8 weeks old and she adds so much fun to our lives. She has so much personality. She has been to puppy and intermediate obedience classes and now she is in agility class. She goes to Doggy Day Care twice a week and to another one each week where she gets to play with other dogs.
How exciting! I have dancing skeletons on my page for Howloween! Thank you HQ for letting us send out so many presents on this fun holiday.
The other day I went with my dad while he was running errands. I love when he goes to the bank and the pharmacy because those people know how to treat dogs! They always give me a cookie. At the pharmacy, they gave him two cookies for me. He only gave me one and put the other in the console between the two front seats. He had to run into the grocery store so he left me in the car for a couple of minutes. That gave me just enough time to open the console up and get my cookie! Dad was surprised because he did not know that I could do that! BOL! BOL!
My dear friend Buttercup went to The Rainbow Bridge today. I have known her since I joined Dogster. She was a rescue pup who was adopted into the perfect family. Nobody could have given her more love or taken better care of her than they did. I always felt that Buttercup was the perfect Dogster member. She was sweet, kind to everyone, supportive and loved Dogster. When I joined Dogster I admired her as an admin. She created fun games, always recognized birthdays, set up candle pages for those that needed prayers and was a good friend to everyone. I was given a chance to be an admin in her group and always tried to live up to her example. It is hard to picture Dogster without her presence. I know that the Rainbow Bridge just became a more beautiful place with her arrival.
Rest in peace Buttercup. You are loved and missed and live on in our hearts.
