Arrival Story:
We had just moved from the East coast and I was feeling very homesick. We had put an offer on a condo and we were scheduled to move in shortly (we were still in an apartment then) when I went to the store and saw someone giving away these puppies. It was Thanksgiving weekend. I searched for a little girl and picked up the first one I saw. As I stood there snuggling her, the kids that were giving her away started asking if I was taking her home. Knowing that we still were in an apt, I wasn't sure if I should or not. I tried calling my husband, but he wouldn't pick up the phone. I decided to bring her home anyway. Right before I was ready to leave, I asked my sister (who was with me) if she thought one of the other dogs was cuter. She yelled at me saying, "you can't love and snuggle this one and put her back!!" So, she was right, of course. I took her home and named her Kelsi. She was our first baby. She held on for so long for us. Probably much longer than we should have let her. I will love and miss you always, dog-dog.
