They dropped her off because she was to old to be bred and so we got her from a wondeful foster family who cried to see her go.
I had seen her picture on the website of the rescue group I work with and was sure she would be snapped up. Guess noone wants a senior so 7 months later she was still there and that was when we decided to get her.
Friends at the PLACE were instrumental in helping mommy pick me and my new name. Bio: She is very cute and sweet and has a funny little mohawk!!
She was kept caged her whole life and bred so many times that her nipples drag on the floor and have developed callouses.
During her dental 8 teeth literally fell out by themsleves they were so rotten. She had recieved no prior vet care.
She is here now and we love her.
Sophie had surgery for a spay, nipple removal, tumor removal, 2 biopsies and 6 teeth extracted.
She recovedred very well from the surgery but is now suffering with an unknown skin ailment.
Her eyelids are swollen and her eyes are surrounded with red crusty sores that bleed without being bothered. Her paw pads are missing and she has tiny bumps on her belly. As well as crusting on her ears.
She has been tesetd for mange and a host of other diseases and nothing seems to fit.

Socks- Have you seen this gal? Great Dog she is gorgeous!!! Mommy and I love to stare at her pictures. Her mom works so hard to save pups and give them furever homes filled with love. She is an angel on earth.
Rascal- A handsome doxie if ever there was one. He is so nice and he even gave me a super sweet star!!!!!! I hope his neice knows how lucky she is to have an uncle like him.
Nikita Sophia- She has repeatedly checked on me and left me multiple get well rosettes. Mom says those gifts are part of the reason I am fighting so hard to get better. Thanks for your friendship and kind words!
