My former dog, Pepsi, died. I went to the Humane Society to donate Pepsi's things and asked if I could look at the dogs. There was Buddy. Not only did I adopt him, I had to buy new things cuz I had already donated Pepsi's stuff!

I'm not sure of his birthday. I know he was born in 1996, so I celebrate his birthday on the day he came to live with us. He is the sweetest, best-behaved dog I have ever owned. Photos with people: Niece, Anna Banana ~ and ~ Grandma

Clean Teeth & Fresh Breath

My teeth cleaning went well. They did end up extracting 7 of my teeth, which hurt for the entire weekend after they did it, but mom held me a lot and I made it through. I feel much better now that my mouth is healed. My breath smells and tastes so fresh. I even let mom brush my teeth now, and I am a very good boy for her while she does it. All in all, I'd say it was worth it. And much easier to tolerate than my last surgery!

Mom has assured me that the teeth cleaning will be okay. Also, she said it will make my breath a LOT fresher. That comforted me for a while . . . until I remembered what they cut off of me last time I was there!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!

The Vet

It wasn't a very fun trip to the vet last Friday. She told mom that I have really bad tartar on my teeth. I try--I chew my dental bones and I eat the hard food (even though I would prefer the soft), but I don't like it when mom tries to brush my teeth, so I don't let her. But now I have to have my teeth cleaned. I don't like going to the vet and now not only do I have to go, I have to have something big done. The vet even said it looked like they might have to PULL a tooth or two! WHAT?!!! I don't like it one bit. I just want to stay at home with my people and play with my toys.
