7. My mommy says I'm the cutest Boxer alive (but she's a little bias)! :)

THE HALF BREED
They call me a Boxer,
But I'm a Half-Breed.
Part Boxer of course,
and part people indeed.
Anyone who owns me knows it's true.
We're so close to being people,
we're like part of you.
"He's one of the family,"
you've heard people say.
"Don't know how we'll manage when he passes away."
But they'll get another Boxer,
a pure bred at first.
Not the most well-behaved puppy,
but far from the worst.
Then the change will take place,
the same as before.
They'll end up with the same human HALF-BREED once more!

Well, my birthday was this past Saturday, and mommy and daddy got me these really cool things that float in the air!!! They are clear circular floaty things, that I think mommy and daddy called bubbles...
Well, whatever they are... I LOVE THEM! They are so fun to chase, and every now and then I can catch one... but when I catch one, it disappears.... very strange!!!
They also got me and Cadence Girl two bones. When mommy brought them home, she filled them up with water, and put them in the freezer... I thought that was kind of odd, but when she gave them to us later, they were very very cold!!! I loved it because it reminded me of when mommy gives us ice cubes!! We love ice cubes!!! Anywho... I don't think I played with it the right way because when I finally got through to the ice, mommy took it away and threw it in the trashcan... I heard her tell daddy, "Look what Gunner did... he chewed right through it!" Maybe I was just suppose to lick the bone and drink the water as it melted... who knows... all I know is we are down to one bone, and Cadence is so stingy, I probably won't ever get to play with it! It's ok though because mommy will just give me ice cubes, and I know what to do with those! :)
