Arrival Story:
Bo was purchased from a puppy mill. He went blind by 6 months from juvenile cataracts. He can see some motion. His obedience training makes him a joy to live with.

Bo was depressed after Goldilocks died in 2009. Within a few months the vet said he had congestive heart failure. I gave him medication religiously and he did very well until the end. I had always known that I was to watch for coughing as a sign, and one afternoon he started coughing, and it was so much that I thought he had something caught in his throat. It took a couple hours for me to determine that he needed medical attention and as I loaded him in the car he became unconscious and died a few minutes later in my arms at the emergency vet hospital on July 3, 2011. We are so sad to lose our wonderful little boy, but we also know that he had a very good life, and even a relatively clean and easy death. I hope mine is that quick.
