She is on homecooked for her allergies but she loves all food

Favorite Walk:
She might be blind but she LOVES walks and her favorite walks are in wide open spaces so she can trot around with nothing to bump into.

Best Tricks:
learning the layout of the furniture or landscape so she won't bump into it and she is also amazingly skillful at eating raw meaty bones (she uses her paws like hands)

Arrival Story:
In February 2007 I found her on the Ponderosa Pom rescue website. She was turned into the rescue by someone who found her stray. At the time I only had Chachi and I was looking for a dog who would not be playful, because Chachi wasn't but he was great with dogs who did not invade his space. When I found a blind calm adult I couldn't have asked for a better match.

Bio:
Magpie was so fond of Chachi and used him as a guide dog often so she became quite upset after his passing. Now Milo has won her heart and Primrose is like her bratty sister. Prim will pounce on her, sit against and lick her and Magpie will just sit there and take it (which is HUGE because if any stranger chi did that she would bite their tale off the second they thought of messing with her). She had detached retinas when I adopted her and over the past two years her cataracts have formed. The vet did not recommend removing them because she was blind before cataracts so it would not improve her vision and going under surgery would be unneeded stress.
