Went to the U today to see my cardiologist and walked the entire way down the halls. Several people stopped to say "Hi Mia" and comment on how cute my jean jacket was :)
Anyway, the cardiologist is quite pleased with how I looked overall. He said I looked bright and alert. The x-ray looked good with just a little haziness in the lungs that is probably a small amount of fluids. They are starting me on a second diuretic in hopes that my lungs clear and my respiratory rate will decrease a bit. Poor mom, I'm gonna need to potty every 5 minutes on two of those meds, BOL!
On the downside, my BUN continues to increase. They told momma no more hot dogs and easy on the proteins. There goes the only foods I will eat. We'll have to see how this plays out because I have no interest in dog food :(
I guess overall it went well, I am at least feeling much better this month. I'm very thankful for that!
Oh and before I forget, I gained almost 1/2 pound! I am now 8 1/2 pounds. Thank doG for the feeding tube!
This makes Thanksgiving special. You are 81/2 pounds of determination.
We love you Mia.

You gained some weight and that is very good !
As for the proteins , I knew they should go up with hot dogs ,my proteins levels went up just for eating chicken breast mixed with my dog food (dog food has already a lot of proteins and it only add more together with chikcen ) not to say my allergies that now disappeared
Sorry you won´t be allowed to eat the turkey and I know your mommy will have a hard time to please you but it is in your own well being
You are in our prayers and keep up improving and updating us
love and hugs
