There hasn't been a lot of improvement since Mia came home late Sunday but she has been holding steady. We were just in the process of sending out Thank Yous for all the love and prayers Mia has been getting when she had another seizure episode. We immediately called her cardiologist who said that since her respiratory rate didn't elevate and since she pulled out of it quickly that we can keep her home and monitor her. Her body is still in congestive heart failure so it isn't surprising that she would respond in the same way as when it all started. This is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to witness. It is so sad to see her struggling so much.

Since the seizure this morning her condition has remained stable. She was delayed on getting her meds since it was due at the time of the episode but after a brief rest she took her pills. I started her back on the appetite stimulant this evening as well. The U doesn't believe it had anything to do with her relapse over the weekend. She is so weak in part to not eating enough so I have to try it again if I hope to see any success. Thank you for sticking with us through this difficult time. Denise and Mia Mia here, I am one hot mess! After two weeks of not getting brushed enough (too stressful) and my time at the ER (shaved belly) I'm looking a bit ragged. Don't let my mom post any more pics! BOL! I am resting and still working on getting better. It is much slower than I would like but I haven't given up just yet. Muah! Mia Denise, this has to be so hard & our hearts break for you & Mia & what you are going through. Mia is a fighter & so are you & everything you can do is being done for your sweet girl. She is in the very best of hands with you. You are both in our thoughts constantly and our prayers. So glad to hear she is resting & doing a little better.
