too long

It's been a long time since mommy or I have been here, she has been busy.So much going. Mommy went back to work, it started out with her working then she quite, then volunteered at the girls' school and now she is back to working, I still get to go with her to get a coffee and take the girls to school, and then we come back, and she gets ready to leave. I know that she hates to leave me and I hate it too but I get to chill here at the house and watch cartoons all day until daddy gets home. Mommy said that if I can pass some test, I can go with her to work. She is working with kids again but it is in a building with elderly people as well. wonder what the test takes to pass? I think I can do it......well maybe. Mommy gets home and she is tired, so I just lay with her and then when she goes to make dinner. She just now changed my picture and my background for my page. I tried but Idon't know the password to get on to the computer.....no one here does, only mommy. I better go and see what everyone is doing, so much rackett going on sounds like it is time for us to leave? Lets see.........who has their shoes on i got to go potty?

Not too good =(

Today I thought mommy and I would go about our normal day, but we didn't. This morning after playing chase ( mommy tried to get me to get in the van to take the girls to school, I decided she needed a little excersice and took off running all through the yard and into the neighbors yard. finally mommy caught me), we took the girls to school, and here I thought we were going to get a coffee and a biscuit, but NO, mommy took me to the grommer. I was ok at first, but when she left, I got nervouse and cried. The lady there placed me in a crate infront of a puppy so I would feel comfy, but it wasn't the same, mommy wasn't there. I got my bath and then she dried me and I HATE TO BE DRIED!! I would much rather air dry then have that hot air blow directly on me. I hate when mommy blow dries her hair in the mornings, I start to jump up and yell at it. Later I got put on the table and all of a sudden i heard a buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz it was something that kept cutting all of my nicelong coat. I wasn't too happy. I refused to cooperate with the lady. When she was all done, I got put back in the crate next to that little pup and I just stared at him until mommy came. I wasn't too happy to see her, i was shaking and mommy sensed that and asked the lady how I did and she SAID "OK, that I wined for a while and she told mom how she put me by a puppy to make me feel a little better and that I didn't realy like the buzzzzzz noise". Mommy told the lady that I don't go in the crate unless she is leaving and can't take me or when it is time to sleep. Mommy took me home and I haven't been the same ever since. I am QUIET, very tired, shakey, and I haven't realy ate anything. I can tell mommy is worried cause she comes over to check on me and see if I want to cuddle. When she tried to get me to eat, she hand feed me some food and when my furless cousin came over and tried to feed me, I snapped at her when she put her hand in my bowl. I really am not the same, that was too scary for me. I hope mom sees this and realize that I like my long look, I think maybe I won't be so bossy when she tries to brush me, I will let her, it is better than feeling this way, mommy realy likes this new look. I know mommy is wondering how long I will be like this and what effect this has caused, but heck i don't know, i too hate feeling this way, I miss playing with my toys and mommy.

Groups

Well mommy and I have now joined a few groups. We both like all of them. THANK YOU Gibbon for telling all those dogsters from the PPR group about me. Mommy liked that very much!! She says we will do the same thing for other pups. Mommy says a pup can't have too many friends!! ;D. Mommy also got invited to join the Dog Park USA group and she wants to put me in the contest! I think she is going to dress me up.....I don't really like to wear clothes and she is always buying me clothes and I have to put up a fight when she puts them on me. *I thought clothes were for humans?* of course she always wins. We will have to see what she gets me this time. Mommy has so many pictures of me in all my clothes that she wants to put up on my page but my furless sisters are always playing with the camara since it can record videos as well and have made the battery die and mommy can't find the charger and seems to be lazy and doesn't want to run to the store and buy a new one. Daddy will have to make her go!! Mommy is having to much fun staying home with me. She has rearainged the furniture so she can get me a bigger crate, she hand painted me a new ceramic bowl, I think she is going to start a canister for the treats she is making this weekend? She is making a new blanky made from fleece that she just ties pieces together. It is brown and blue with white doggie bones on it, I hope it is for me I love to cuddle up next to soft blankies.

It has been two weeks now that mommy has been home from quiting her job. We both ar loving it!!We play, play, play, and play!! I go everywhere with mommy. This morning we went and got mommy a coffee as usual and I got my biscuit. I really like going with mommy, when we get near the coffee stand, I am all ready to get my biscuit from the nice lady who has a tub full of bisciuts. Mommy was talking to the lady and she told her that she would really like to have a place that WE could both go to and enjoy coffee and a biscotti(I know I can't have coffee but I can have biscotti) and meet other furfriends and their people. We live in a small town so mommy said that she don't think that others will follow but there sure are a lot of dogs around. Too bad mommy doesn't start it.

sitting pretty

woof woof! Finaly! Mommy has been working on teaching me new commands. Mommy said that she had quit her job working with all those kids to stay home and be with me and not to mention with the girls ( we know she did it so she could be home with me, but that's our seceret). She said it was time to teach me commands but the only way was to spend more time teaching me to follow them. Well it has worked. Mommy spent yesterday teaching me to "sit". It was hard to do at first but we did't give up, mommy cut up a zennpuppy treat into tiny little pieces and used that to motovate me. We worked on it for 30 minutes and then when all the treats were gone, she kept saying "sit" when we would walk through out the house and I did it!!! I sat! WOOF WOOF!!!
This morning when the girls woke up to go to school, mommy showed them what I could do and I did it , when they tried to get me to "sit", I wouldn't do it for them. Mommy told them to wait and that I will eventually do it for them, but who knows, maybe I will play dumb and let them try harder. We tried it some more this afternoon and guess what, I got it down much better!! Mommy is so proud of me. WOOF WOOF!!!

today mommy caught me chewing up the carpet. She was mad. She sprayed some yucky smelly stuff on the carpet. I think she found my first spot cause when I went back to the one by the door, it tasted awful. When I started to sniff around, every corner smelled the same, some sour smell. She put me out on the patio for a while so I could run around out there and stop chewing on things. It was fun.

what's that stuff?

Today, when mommy took me out to go potty, there was white stuff falling from the sky. I wanted to get down and chase it but mommy wouldn't let me, she said it was too cold. I got all jumpy and so mommy put me down. At first, I was afraid to move cause it was cold but when Gabie went out in the yard I chased after her. Mommy told her to not let me go too far. We played for a while until she had to go to school and mommy took me with her to take Gabie and the girls to school. We stopped at the coffe shop and I got a biscut and mommy got her white chocolate thing. When we got home mommy and daddy took me out to the yad and we played ball in the white cold stuff. I wonder how long it will last?

vet day

Today mommy and I took a trip down to the vet. I was kind of nervous since every time we take a ride in the car, it is usually to go somewhere that makes me a little scared. I had to get vacinations and mommy had a micro chip implanted in me....that sort of hurt :( the vet told mommy that I was a litte chubby...who was he calling chubby? He was chubby. I only gained two pounds since mommy brought me home three weeks ago. I can't help that the girls give me more treats than I should have. They give me treats when mommy and daddy aren't around. Mommy came home and told them that they needed to cut back on the treats or she was going to hide them from all of us! NO way can she do that, I really love treats.

Yesterday mommy took me to her work (she works with kids), there were alot of little people wanting to touch me, mommy told all of the kids to sit in a circle on the rug and she will sit with me on the chair so they can all see me. I was really scared, all I wanted to do was hide my head in mommy's arm. I kept thinking this was TOO much for me and I think mommy thought the same thing when a little fellow tried to touch me and I started to dig my face further into mommy's arm. She told everyone that I was "like a little baby and we needed to use quiet voices and wait to pet me". After she read a story and everyone including myself settled down she had one at a time come pet me....it wasn't so bad, they were really gentle. Mommy says I will be spending more time there and she wants to get me used to all the noise and the kids.

Dirty Dog!

Today when mommy came home I had to go potty and as always, she wanted me to use the pad she is trying to get me to use.....anyways, I really wanted to go potty outside and mommy tried really hard to keep me on the pad but I insisted we go out side. When mommy opened the door, I ran right off the patio and into the muddy water in the yard, mommy started to yell my name to get my attention but I just kept on running right through the water to my spot. When mommy seen me sneak back into the house she told me we wil be going back to the groomers to take a bath really SOON :( I really hate the bath and it is hard to stay clean when you are a puppy.....maybe mommy will understand sometime soon. Atleast, I got a treat for going potty outside:)
