Arrival Story:
Jay got her as a puppy from a friend in Nevada when he lived there. She had a few litters of puppies out there and then moved back to Illinois with Jay. We got married in 2002 and I officially "adopted" her. She was always a joy to be around. She loved to beat her tail on the floor or the walls or anything else that was in the way just to say hello. She got woofy at times. And mouthy at others. There were days when we just couldn't shut her up. I guess she had a lot to say. She had it a little rough for the past year. She started having seizures that initially we had trouble controlling. We finally got a hold on them and she was seizure free for about 6 months. We lost her tragically on 11-11-2006 when all 3 dogs got out of the gate and she got hit by a car. We buried her at Jay's mom's house near the creek and pond that she loved to go swimming in. When we were digging the hole, we knew we found the right place because we found something that had been buried that she was probably responsible for. We buried that with her too. We miss her everyday. We love her to pieces and she'll always be a part of us. We're thankful for the time we've had to spend with her. She tought our other 2 dogs so much. I see a little bit of Misha in RJ everyday.

Misha-moose,
I can't believe it's been 6 months since you left us. We miss you everyday. Especially now that it's summer outside, I miss your woofiness and chasing of bunnies (we won't tell daddy I said that). Your brother has taken over keeping the bunnies in line and we have a pesky cat that you would have loved to have gotten ahold of.

The painting of you turned out great and you hang over the couch so that we can see you everyday.

Your maggie will be here in a couple of weeks. We're not sure how well that is going to go with you being gone. I wish she could have said goodbye to you. i have a feeling this might be tough for her to deal with. you were always a big part of her life when she is here.

We miss you and love you always!
