Favorite Walk:
Oliver loves going for his daily walks in the park near our home. He also loves going for walks near grandma and grandpa's house

Best Tricks:
Oliver can walk backwards better than any other dog I've known!

Arrival Story:
My mom and I lost Nella, our Old English Sheepdog, a little over 3 years ago. We weren't looking for another dog to replace Nella, but we definitely wanted to fill the big empty void in our lives. Mom and I agreed to wait a while before looking into another dog. One day, Mom stumbled across a website that advertised Briards. Never having heard of the breed, she read up on it and then came across Oliver, a rescue dog. Oliver was found half dead on a Los Angeles freeway. From what we've been told, a nice couple found Oliver and took him in. They immediately brought him to a shelter/breeder where he was cared for and given a second chance at life. Oliver had been badly abused and was near death. After 8 months at a breeders in Bakersfield, California, Oliver was as good as new. After reading his story, Mom and I knew immediately that we wanted him as a part of our family. The rest is history. A little over two years ago now, we had Oliver flown in from Bakersfield, California. Since his arrival, he has taken over my room and my bed...but I wouldn't have it any other way! I love him dearly!
