My Husband and I were searching for months for the "Right" dog to rescue. We had to make sure we had the best fit. Our 13 year old male AmStaff is Alpha Dog and needed to be able to remain so. After numerous failed attempts to rescue a dog from our local animal shelters (we never got to the complete an adoption - just several HOLDS), I decided to hit the internet. I found a breeder who had bought Chani and her sister to breed them but due to her genital defects she couldn't. That was fine with us. We had to have her. So the next week she was delivered to me. We are so lucky to have her.
