Nicknames:
Bailey Bob, B-dog, B-diddle

Quick Bio:
-purebred

Likes:
His parents, food, walks, hogging the whole bed, riding in the car, licking anyone's face, squirming as he islaying on his back

Pet-Peeves:
being alone, being away from home too long, us not coming inside as soon as we pull up (he can see us)

Favorite Toy:
his stuffed snowflake, stuffed dog toy, grunting hedgehog and the dining room rug ( he enjoys digging in it for some reason)

Favorite Food:
Pup corn dog treats, peanut butter, ice cubes, warer out of mommy's glass, crusts to sandwiches and to pizza

Favorite Walk:
Around the block, on the levee and in the country or around in circles when he wants to go out, and back home

Best Tricks:
giving gentle hugs, taking food directly out of our mouths, sitting and laying down , staying inside the open garage even when dogs are playing across the street, and not eating his treats until we tell him to

Arrival Story:
My sister-in-law wanted a new puppy, so we took a ride with her and her husband to look at them. We weren't intending on getting a dog but as soon as we saw him we fell in love. He was the whitest puppy out of the group and was just so cute. My sister-in -law and her husband bought a chocolate lab that they named Bosco. We shared a double apartment for a while so the dogs were neighbors for over a year. My sister-in-law's best friend also bought one of the other chocolate males, so he gets to be with his litter mates often. There were 6 dogs total in his litter. We brought him home a couple of weeks later and have become so attached that we feel awful anytime we have to leave him and can't wait until we get back to him. At least at those times he gets to be with his grandparents and their dogs.

Bio:
He is the most beautiful Lab (but don't all parents think that about their dog). As a puppy he always wanted to be with people. He would sneak past the barriers that keept him in the kitchen to come into the bedroom and lay on folded blankets. There were many times that we couldn't find him and he would just be curled up sleeping on them. He still thinks that he is more human than dog and always wants to be with us. He loves all people and all animals. Our friends all have small dogs and he loves to play with them although playing means licking their faces until their hair stick up in all kinds of directions. He would lick you to death! He is so sweet and is generally the perfect dog and even doesn't mind bath time (althoug the pool still isn't a favorite- yet). One of his favorite things to do is look out of the windows in the dining room at people and cars passing by and we have marks on the window sill and sheers to proove it. He is our baby! We may try to breed him one of these days and keep one of his puppies. It would be nice to keep his family line in ours and to give him a house buddy!

Living with the grandparents

We have been living with my grandparents since Hurrican katrina and it is great! I have canine "uncles" that I look up to so much and other uncles that I love to hang out with. There is always something going on in the house and I love to stay up late with my uncles when they come home from being out. I also love the 24 hour buffet. My parents always measured out my food before at our house but now I can eat from the never ending food bowl whenever I want. I have gained a few pounds because of it but I still think I look great and so do my parents. I am a very loved dog!!

Bailey and Hunter

Last night I got to play with a yellow lab puppy. He is only 9 weeks old but he looks much older than that. He was a lot of fun to play with. I knew that he was small and not as strong as I was so I played really gentle even though he was using me as a chew toy. I think that he is my best play pal so far! He had so much energy that he wore me out. My parents took a lot of pictures and even got some of us sharing a bowl of food. Boy that puppy could eat. I hope that Hunter can come over and play again in the future!

Last night I had another dog class. We only have a few more classes to go and then I graduate, I can't wait. I really enjoy the class and I am quite good at most things but "down". Our instructor even said that I am show quality. My mom and I have been working really hard and I think that it will pay off! Soon I will be a graduate!
