Dear Doggies

My roxie is gone for two years now. I still miss her but Im so grateful for her training. She taught me to see and feed too skinny dogs behind gates. To sing to the ones that look terrified. She gave me Petey who she first saw with the section 8 thugs who moved across the street from the house we bought for her.

She would have been seven this month, would have her leg held out? Dewey her cohort in crime is on his last legs, living on pain pills.. Its hard to let him go but hes eleven so every day is massage for him Roxie. You taught me how to do it perfect for you, now the Doo Bear, the doggie you scalped, bossed around and loved is getting all your massages. You dont need them in heaven.

Yesterday Petey stared in my eyes and then took his foot like you used to and guided me to pet his chest. His was warm, yours was always freakishly cold, remember we teased you about it? Oh my little doggie, I see you everywhere and would do anything for one more moment. but thats not life. SoOOO were spreadin the love around baby girl... in your name.

teachin tennis in your name.
helping other doggies.... in your name.

your were the best friend I could have ever hoped for. Thanks for all the lessons in life.
