I AM SO HAPPY!!!!

Mom and Dad have separated. But, everything is working out ok. I thought I would have to find a new home, but mom and dad talked and mom told dad she would help with me, Duke, Raven and Eva. Daddy kept 2 cats. I am glad he kept the one I like to lick. (Raven). I am so happy everything worked out. I did not want to leave my home, my daddy, or Duke. Thanks mom and dad for working this out for me!!!!

In memory of Osso 8/19/09 Rest in Peace, my friend.

Hi everyfur!!! I added two pictures to my page. My friend is a really cool Rottweiler named Osso. He loved to play and he loved kids. He had a very loving family. Yesterday, a mean person poisoned Osso with antifreeze. Osso could not be saved. He is at the bridge now, flying free. His family is devastated. They cannot understand how a sweet, happy and loving dog, a furry family member could meet this kind of fate. We are sending woofs, purrs, and prayers for this family. Osso was/is very much loved and will be missed deeply by his family. I just wanted to tell his story because he is not on Dogster.

Avocados. I dont like them!

I am so glad that mom talked to the landlord about that stupid tree. Avocado fall off and hit me all the time. It is starting to get on my nerves. She told the landlord that the tree is launching green bombs at me. He laffed, but took it seriously. He said he will get the tree guy over here asap. I would love to have grass. I am tired of getting dirt in my eyes. Then mom has to come rinse out my eyes, put medicine in my eyes, and oh how I love all of that. Mom said I am getting a dog bath tomorrow, after she comes back from grooming my cousin dog Happy. Oh boy, I can't wait. Hope they got the drain cleaner ready!!! BOL. Maybe mom will take a picture of me when I am clean. That would be a first.

Hello Everyfur!

Wow, I feel like a stranger to my own diary. Its those cats, Paisan and the rest of them. They take over the computer and.....well you know.

I have been up since 3:30 PST. I am mommy's guard dog. She had a ruff nite and has a really, really bad headache. She has special medicine for the headache, but its not working yet. Hopefully soon.

So, then Paisan and to do his PNN (Paisan News Network) thing.
Which is good, because he posts on PAWS and lets us all know what is happening.

Then, I finally got my turn. I went and checked on some friends, posted the passing of a sweet pup named Lily on PAWS and then went to the group "Akitas and Friends" Hellooooooooooo. Can somefyr tell me if that group is still active, or am I the only Akita left on Dogster. BOL. Did the party move? What happened. Can somefur from the group let me know? Please?

What next? Oh, sleeping. Soon I will be up in the window, checking to be sure all the kids get off to school next door. One has to ride his skateboard before school and the other has to play basketball. Then, they all yell at each other. Same story, different day.

I am so tired. I am going nappies. I will woof more later.

Update from Paisan

Paisan is our research cat. He checked with USGS, CalTech, and The Weather Channel. The earthquake swarm seems to have slowed a bit. Still having earthquakes, just much smaller ones you cant even feel.(good). As far as weather, the central part of the country is getting soaked with rain, and headed south. So, for now we can purr for those in the impending flood areas and hope all are safe.

My cat brother Paisan comes up with great ideas. He worries about everyone. He decided to search Dogster for pups in Fargo, North Dakota, print their names in my diary and ask for woofs and the power of the paw to keep them safe. We can do that, right guys? Hey Guys!

I want to thank everyone who sent the power of the paw to Duke. It seems to be working!! Thanks to everyone for the gifts and well wishes. It mean alot.

I got to go for a walk today...to the end of the driveway. The kids were playing basketball and petting me. The kids were shooting baskets trying to win me. Mom said that Duke would be too lonely without me. Duke and I took a nap in the room today. No growling or problems. Mom is relieved.

What mom did not know was that Paisan was also in the room, hiding under the bed. He is still hiding. I am not in the room anymore. I am hanging out with Daddy. Poor Daddy and Poor Duke. Well, they can recover together. See Duke's diary for the daddy story. BOL.

I ran away on mom last night. I did it again today. I am very surprised that I even got to go for a walk, but I am not complaining. There was a strange man in the front yard. I had to go check him out. He was a landscaper. I was just checking his work. Mom said yeah, right.

Hey! It's not 9 pm yet!!!

In this city, there are rules. Stupid rules, but rules. Dogs cannot bark between 9pm and 7am. That is one reason we come into the house. The other is mom feels better with us inside at night. But the drug dealers can do drive by's and shoot their guns and its ok. How is that fair? So in defiance, Duke and I are gonna take turns barking after 9 unless dad comes and gets us first. Mom always tells Duke, if you are not quiet, that mean guy from code enforcement will be back. Mom got in a fight with him, so he probably wont be back. He threatened calling the SPCA. How funny cuz mom is a volunteer for SPCA. She asked him who are you going to call, maybe I know them. That shut up the stupid guy. I wonder if he has to be quiet between 9 and 7 too. Mom thinks he should be quiet 24/7 what ever that means. Barking will now commence.
