Visit to hobby farm. 1/8/07

Woo hoo! Minnesota is cool! I got to visit a hobby farm in Hugo. (http://www.ci.hugo.mn.us/hugo.htm)My friend Jen took me and mom to visit Carol's farm. I saw bunnies, pigmy goats, other doggies, lotsa horsies, a miniature mule and a steer. My favorite was Hazel, the miniature mule. We chased each other round and round and had a great time. Maggie the horse kept chasing ME outta her pen and she was kinda scary, but I was very brave and went back in to see her and tried to give her a kiss. I did kiss Howard the horse though. I also gave Wally the steer a good lick and did a little nibblin' on the pigmy goats. Too bad dem bunnies was all locked up or I know I coulda kissed em LOTS! Only bad thing 'bout the trip was the next day I had "diarrhea, diarrhea, cha cha cha" cuz I munched on manure...yum, yum. I can't wait to go back and visit again. I'm an Uptown girl!

Well, I guess it's official. I am a new resident of this place called Uptown Minnesota. http://www.uptownminneapolis.com/enter/index.php Momjust got her library card in the mail so I guess we're stayin.

So far my favorite place to go is the Lake of the Isles dog park http://www.minneapolisparks.com/default.asp?PageID=4&parkid= 388 My most favorite dogs there are Lucy and Murphy. They both look like me 'cept Murph is a minnie-me and C.R.A.Z.Y. He humps everything and never stops! He doesn't hump me though, he already learned that he can't do that to me.

'Nother cool thing 'bout here is now I have an Aunt Irm! Wow, is she cool! I get treats all the time and she doesn't talk to me like a baby. I am pretty sure that she loves me.

Mom says we are going to go to Minnehaha (heehee, isn't that a funny name!) today. http://www.minneapolisparks.com/default.asp?PageID=4&parkid= 386 Hope it is fun.

'Find It' game

Mom did something last night and thought she outwitted me. Yeah, right. While playing 'find it' in the house she hid a treat about 5 feet off of the ground so i couldn't see...didn't matter, I found it. then she tried to trick me good by putting the treat behind the glass door of the entertainment center (this was the first time it just wasn't out in the open)...and I found it again! she is gonna havta try REALLY hard next time if she wants to trick ME. This game rules! Does anyone else play?

Slumber pawty at daddy's!!!

Yahoo, I got to spend last night at my daddy's house!! I hadn't seen him in 3 whole days cuz he didn't take me with him to my uncle's house (they don't care much for dogs). Mom and I went over to visit Sun. night and I got tired and went into his (my old) bed at my norma 9pm bedtime. Dad went to bed at 10pm and mom stayed up to watch the Olimpics in HDTV (mom says it looks better...whatever). She came in to take me home and asked (not told!) me to 'come on, lets go home'..."wanna go outside"..."do ya havta go potty"?? and I said "nope...i'm cool here, thanks" so mom let me stay over!!!! I was sooo...comfy cuz i was right next to my daddy and his arm was wrapped around me. I LOVE that. he said he didn't even know I was still there until I had to change positions and I turned my 3 circles and then plopped on him like alwasys. it was a surprise to him!! hee hee!

don't get me wrong, I like sleeping with mom, but comonow...it's my DADDY. I LOVE my daddy!!!

Gosh, I'm so lucky!

I got to be one of the diary's of the day! I don't know why, cuz lately I haven't written a lot cuz I am keeping my mom company while she sleeps. she didn't even take me for a walk today. I miss that. I think tomorrow morning I am going to bark really loud at 8am so she will take me out for a walk and get outa bed. I know she will be mad at me at first, but I want to learn to wake her up EVERY morning. I really miss going to work with her on Fridays. It was so much fun to see everyone smile at me and want to pet me and give me lots of treats. I bet they miss me too. The old people at the home knew that I would be there EVERY Friday and saved their goodies for me. Maybe I will sneak back this week by myself and get the goodies from the last few weeks that I haved missed. I know they will be happy to see me. Mom always says how proud she is of me when I make her patients smile. this one lady never ever looks at mom or even answer her questions when moms asks, but ya know what?! She talks to ME...and smiles and pets me. I told mom not to feel bad though, cuz I am a lot cuter than she is and she doesn't do tricks like me, so of course that lady likes me better.I was reading another dogster doggie's diary and am gonna see if she can teach me some of the things she knows. Her name is Sabrina and even though she is younger than me, she helps her mommy all the time. I know I can help mine too. I sure am gonna try. I asked Sabrina to be my pup pal!

Hee hee...

it is almost 2:00am and i am STILL dog of the day! that's not cheating is it? i don't lie OR cheat. i may sneak a snack every little now and then (mom taught me leave it and wait, so i really don't eat things unless she says so), but i am a good girl.

my mom and dad are giving xtra lovins today and keep saying things like: 'here comes the dog o' the day!', 'would the dog o' the day like to go on a hike!?', and 'move over people, the dog 'o the day is coming through...no pictures please'
weird, huh? they keep telling me how proud they are and how beautiful (well...duh!) and special i am...yada, yada yada....just keep the treats comin'!!!!

guess i have you to thank!! mom says that she knows how special i am and now, just other people know too.

Dog 'O the Day!!??

What is this Dog of the Day thing?! I know I make my mama's day EVERY day cuz she tells me so, but did I make someone else's day too? Mom tells me that I make a lot of people happy when I am hanging my head out of my truck's (yes! I said MY truck) window. She says she knows this because she sees people smile at me and point to make others look at me. They're not laughing at me are they? Maybe I have drool on my nose...it has happened before. Mom looks back at me in her side mirror and laughs cuz I have spittle on my cheeks and nose from the wind blowin on my face. Oh well...that's why I am here I guess, to make people happy,...right?!?
