My dear sweet boy went to the bridge last Friday. It was so hard making the decision to let him go...but we knew it was time. We'll see you in Heaven, sweet and faithful friend. Godspeed...

Bio:
Shadow came into my life at a time when I was very sad. My daughter and I were coming home from the mall...when we spied a little black puppy sitting on the curb a block ahead. We slowed down, and he walked out into the street and stopped RIGHT in front of her car. I got out and picked him up! We went to every house in the neighborhood, and no one knew where he came from! We had two old dogs at home (Bear and Megan, Springer Spaniels), and I didn't think it would be fair to them to bring home a puppy. BUT...when one of the neighbors said she would take him to the pound, I decided there was nothing else to do but take him home! I did...and he stayed. He cheered me up. I knew he was a blessing from God!
